We had a very enjoyable break at the Potteries.. The bungalow was very comfortable with everything thought of to make for a great stay. The location was perfect for making the most of the lovely towns and countryside. We had a lovely meal at the Tawny Owl just along the road , all safely socially distanced.

We had a few issues with the plumbing after our arrival and the owner dealt with it amazingly and very promptly, so it didn't impact our stay at all.. First class service!! When the weather is warm, the property does hold a lot of heat. We would recommend having couple of fans in the property or customers to bring their own. Area is dog friendly and our dog Jack had a great time. But just to note when walking your dog around the area near the cottage, you mustn't walk on the open field by the road as the land belongs to the farm. Overall we had a lovely stay, good location, nice and peaceful. Cottage had good facilities and it was just what we needed for our getaway.

Beautiful cottage which was in a lovely peaceful location, but short drive to town for all amenities.. Had everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. Only thing which could be downside if staying for couple of weeks or longer stay is that there is no washer/drier which for families could be a problem. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

This is an out of the way cottage, therefore, it is really nice and quiet, I didn't see a soul.. Everything you could ask for is in this newly built cottage, even a freezer which is not in the specs. It is spacious, clean and comfortable and nicely furnished. It is on the doorstep to the Yorkshire Dales, where you'll find Aysgarth Falls, Richmond, Herriot country where All Creatures Great & Small the series was filmed in and around the Askrigg area. You have Darlington shopping centre a couple of miles away or shop at Morrisons for your food which is on the outskirts of town and not far from the cottage. You're also not that far from Durham City 30 min drive where you could look around the beautiful cathedral or an hours drive to beautiful York. Even take a trip to the east coast around a 30 minute drive away to Hartlepool or just over an hour drive to Whitby. In fact, the cottage is quite central to many interesting areas. As for the cottage, you'll not be disappointed.

The bungalow was extremely clean and had all the required facilities for a short stay.. It was tastefully decorated and very well furnished. All amenities were available but a washing machine would be handy for a longer stay. The owner was very welcoming and helpful.

Cottage was immaculately clean and well presented, we loved our stay and will definitely return.. Great location and so lovely and quiet. The one thing we found, that was if you are there for a longer stay there is no washing machine. Loads of parking and for a Christmas break for meeting up with family this was pretty perfect. Thankyou to the owner who was a such a lovely gentleman.

A lovely bungalow, spacious and clean, extremely quiet area.. Enjoyed walking my dogs in the nearby field. I would have preferred the front garden area to have been enclosed but my dogs caught on quick how far they can go.

Lovely quaint, very clean with modern technology with full strength Internet and wifi. Three of us stayed in this lovely bungalow out of the way but not to far from Darlington town centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had one problem in the bathroom. The hot water cylinder is not very big. Does not hold much hot water at one time and the shower is a bit feeble. Getting to the bungalow with our navigation tom tom was a bit of a no no. It took us to the garage about half a mile away. But that us no adult of the owners. Lovely people who went the extra mile to make us comfortable. Would we stay there again....a big YES.
