Zeal Cottage is a first floor apartment located near the Devonshire villages of Zeal Monachorum and Copplestone. It has two bedrooms including a king size and a twin, both have en-suite shower rooms, the apartment can sleep four people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. To the outside there is off road parking for two cars, a shared utility, a front decking with furniture and a rear patio with furniture. Zeal Cottage is a sumptuous property in an excellent countryside location.

All first floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x king size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. External shared utility.

Area
The mid Devon village of Copplestone is situated in lovely green countryside, four miles from the town of Crediton and a twenty minute drive from the cathedral city of Exeter. Copplestone has a shop and pub, as well as the Copplestone Cross, which is said to mark the centre of Devon, with many believing it dates back to the 10th century. There's also a station at Copplestone, from where you can catch a train on the renowned Tarka Line.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

This i a truly wonderful barn conversion, absolutely stunning in every way. If your looking for a walking holiday the woods surrounding it are breathetaking and if you want to sit back and do nothing it's location allows you to do that too. It's immaculate in every way a real home from home. We booked this via Sykes cottage but they still haven't allowed us to leave feedback and we've tried dozens of times (shame on you Sykes). The owners Chris and Do are real gems who treat there guests exceptionally well without intruding on you holiday, we had such an amazing holiday at Zeal cottage

We had such a wonderful time at Zeal Cottage last year we returned again this year.. And... we were not disappointed. Di and Chris are such lovely people, they make us feel so welcome. The cottage is decorated beautifully, home from home. There is plenty of information regarding local shops, services and things to do. There was a grass feature added to the courtyard this year which was great. The children loved playing on this. We cannot wait to go back. Thank you so much! The Browns xxxx

Just spent a week at Zeal Cottage.. Very well equipped, well furnished and decorated cottage. The owners are very helpful, with great directions and arranging a welcome pack in advance of arrival. There is now a wooden fence, which creates a more private seating area outside the cottage but still allowing space for a car to be parked the other side of the fence. The most noise you will hear is the birds singing and the gentle babble of the nearby river. Zeal Cottage is a little oasis of calm and quiet - a perfect bolt hole.

Zeal Cottage, in a nutshell, a spotlessly clean, well equipped, spacious, comfortable cottage set in peaceful beautiful surroundings.. The owners have given much thought in providing everything we could need to make our stay very enjoyable, including a very generous tailor made Welcome Pack and fresh flowers. Although for us, it was more than that, what made it special was owners Di and Chris's very warm welcome and friendliness, icing on a cake that was already delicious !

There is now a Fence around the outside of the concrete area so the outside is more private.. You can sit outside as there is now a table and 6 chairs. The outside is going to have decking put down. There is still room to park the car outside the cottage. This is a lovely cottage with lovely hosts who supplied a welcome pack. We would go back again.

The location was rural, so very quiet and peaceful. The owners, who live in an adjacent thatched cottage, met us on arrival and went through appliances, etc. as well as providing a book with a lot of information. Owners also provided a lovely welcome package, which was most appreciated. The house was spotless, the beds very comfortable, underfloor heating adjustable in each room and good hot showers. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Both bedrooms quite spacious. Rather modern interior but beams from the old mill building had been retained and gave atmosphere. As three adults we found plenty to do in the week we were there, including Exmoor and Dartmoor. There is also a public walking path accessible from the property. If we lived in England we would be back.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay here.. I would highly recommend this cottage, I don’t have enough nice things to say about it. It’s finished to an exceptional standard. Incredibly clean and so well equipped. We couldn’t have asked for more, very friendly owners and probably the best cottage we’ve ever stayed it. We’re already looking at booking for next year and recommended to friends.

Excellent property and one of the best we have ever used over many years of self catering accommodation.. The hosts were above expectations, after using three other properties in other areas before this one and cannot recommend this property highly enough. Very good value for money. Best of all there were no stairs.

Zeal cottage is a very beautiful place to stay.. Di and Chris were wonderful people who went out of their way to welcome us. We were treated with the highest level of hospitality. The grounds are peaceful, well maintained and so very pretty. The local area well equipped with all we needed. A warm friendly welcome from Chris, Di and their lovely dogs was the start to a great stay at Zeal Cottage.. The accommodation has been finished to a very high modern standard with all rooms having plenty of space and storage and felt very homely. It's situated in a lovely setting of an old vin yard with Chris and Di's beatifull thatched cottage at the top of the drive and lovely gardens and surrounding countryside. There is a well equipped large laundry room adjacent which is accessed by some steps. In brief, a modern accommodation in beatifull surroundings run by a lovely couple, we didn't want to leave.
