Very comfortable. Well equipped. Super views. Loved the hot tub and BBQ.
Pendine Itself very limited but nice caves on the beaches
Takes 20 minutes to get to Narberth for nice shopping , pubs and restaurants .
Steep climb up from beach - but fine for average fitness.
We have stayed at this cottage 4 x now and will be returning again. Cottage doesn't feel like the right term to describe this large open plan 5 double bed and bathrooms house located just a stone throw away from a beautiful and practical beach. The place is very well equipped and the hot tub is an added bonus. The living areas being upstairs means that you get a beautiful sea view whilst chilling in an evening. Upon arrival I have always found the place to be immaculately clean. Due to the welcoming interior it feels like a home away from home. We stayed with another family last time we went but didn't feel in any way overcrowded and there was plenty of space for the young children we were with to burn off steam both inside and out. The cottage even has a bbq in the garden and a huge tv screen perfect for football matches! In the local area there are plenty of amenities and day trips. We visited a beautiful castle just down the road and it is only a short drive away from 2 of the best beaches in the UK including Tenby. Tenby is a beautiful place you must visit whilst staying here. Only negative to our visit was that a week simply didn't feel long enough. There was so much to do, we were busy every day. Ideally would stay for 2!!
Gorgeous house with fab views, hot tub and BBQ.. Well equipped and very comfortable. Pendine itself very limited but can drive to Narberth for good restaurants/ pubs / shops and on to stunning Scenery example lily ponds at Boscheston .
Sykes, as always , slickly provide information at the right times.
Mrs Gray, August 2020
Lovely house with amazing views.. We gad a littke issue and the owner sirted in immedietly. Highly recommended
Mrs Roberts, July 2020
Beautiful house, views for days, stood for what seemed like hours just looking out of the window As Storm Ciara was in full swing, very well equipped, welcome pack on arrival, very comfortable, any slight issues we had the owner, Billy, bent over backwards to rectify.. We would 100% recommend this place for a quiet get away, book with confidence.
Mr Jones, February 2020
We had the most fantastic family break celebrating our daughters 30th birthday.. The accommodation was second to none. Views were spectacular. A very well equipped property. Slept better than I have in months the bed was so comfortable. I could of stayed for an eternity and definitely will be returning.
Some lovely memories made.
Mr & Mrs Queenan
fantastic property with fabulous views.sadly the hot tub air blower had been removed for repair.also the home cinema was impossible to figure out instructions and operate.caretaker came out and changed a lead.good girl !!!caretaker brilliant thanks!!
Mr Queenan, February 2020
The views from the lounge are lovely and the house was suitable for all our family to spend time in.. The beach was only a ten minute walk, but was quite steep to walk back up the hill to the house. Over all we enjoyed our short stay at Pendine, and would return to this area of Wales.
Mrs Stephenson, December 2019
We all had fab time .. View was stunning Plenty of room ,good location.. TV was complecated but we didn't need it . Lovely area and would return x
Mrs Gould, November 2019
The house was fantastic and the views amazing!
Mrs Kreft, October 2019
No complaints at all.. We had a wonderful stay in a beautiful house.
Mrs Breeze, September 2019
The house is lovely, I was disappointed with the hot tub, the jets weren't working properly and it was not hot and not really warm either! !! The bedding is old and poor quality, the covers Bobbly with age and pillows lumpy. Odd you have to walk through bedrooms to get outside to the back garden.
I wish I had read all the reviews before booking this. We went last year and had a lovely holiday. The house is amazing and we loved it again this year. However we were on the way home when Sykes accused us of breaking the hot tub lid. ! They have kept some of my good housekeeping bond without proof from the owner. So go if you have the time to photograph everything before you use it. Keep away. Sykes have not been very supportive of this at all.
Mr Goff, September 2019
Amazing house, wonderful views to wake up to, opened up the double doors.. We all loved the hot tub, enjoyed the outside space. Found everything we needed to cook meals, appreciated the coffee machine. (filter, espresso & milk frothing). All nine of us loved the bedrooms & bathrooms. Comfy, clean & plenty of storage. Kids loved watching movies on the big tv & screen. Great base to explore the area. Kids aged 7 - 13 didn’t want to leave.
Mrs Colmer, August 2019
We have always booked with Sykes but will never book again with them.. We have loved this property and had planned to book again. However without any proof from the owner I have had 100 pounds deducted from the good housekeeping bond without anybody saying they would do this. Had to chase numerous times and nobody has come back to me with the information I need.
Have added notes about this on trip adviser as these alleged allegations have happened before at this property. Have also added how Sykes have failed to handle this.

Lovely house but some of the equipment was looking tired (e.. G. fridge, dishwasher, )
Mr Fox, July 2019r
The outstanding feature of this property is the view over Carmarthen Bay.. Sadly the house itself is showing signs of lack of care, possibly because it is on the market. The light coloured settees in the lounge are dirty and the televisions in 4 of the bedrooms did not work all week. (no signal). The most annoying problem was the dishwasher. The detergent drawer lid was warped so it either failed to release the tablet at all or released it at the wrong time. The top spray arm was not delivering water so the machine was no use and we washed by hand all week (8 of us). We also had to wash most of the crockery before we could use it as it had been put away dirty! I paid a lot of money to have a top rated holiday home and feel let down.
Fantastic house.. .. fantastic views...
Lovely views from the property.. Checking in was easy and straightforward. Facilities are excellent.
Lovely property with stunning views. Weather was great which added to the holiday. Chilled out on the sun drenched patio in the afternoons and stressed out in the hot tub. What more could one want. Pendine beach is close, the walk back uphill is a challenge but if needs drop the car down.
Close to Tenby, Saundersfoot and Pembroke.
We have just returned from a weeks holiday staying in this wonderful house. We were a family of 6 adults and 4 children. We could not fault it. The owners have thought of everything even down to bottle stops. It was very clean and extremely spacious which meant the children could always find somewhere to play. The hot tub was amazing. We were very fortunate with the weather and most mornings we were in the hot tub which overlooked Pendine Sands. What better way to start the day. The views were fantastic. We had no problems with any of the equipment. We met the caretaker on the day we arrived and he was very polite and said if we needed anything at all to just ring him but we never needed to. His wife came each day to check and clean the hot tub. I have read some of the previous reviews but any problems that previous guests had have all been addressed by the owner and rectified. Our bond was refunded very quickly too. This is definitely a property I would return to if ever we all holidayed together again.
This is a fabulous property.. The owner has thought of everything. Very spacious. Could not fault it. Beautiful views across Pendine Sands.
I rented this property for my family six adults and two children for a rare family break together the house was fantastic and the view from the lounge was amazing the property is very spacious all the family enjoyed the hot tub we cooked dinner every night which was my highlight.. we all had a great holiday mainly due to this house, the caretaker Bobby and his wife were always contactable should we need them we had no problems at all and the owner repaid the bond within a week.Thank you for letting us enjoy your house would love to stay again sometime.
For a very expensive house, the facilities were not up to scratch.. The fridge, which was far too small for a house accommodating 10, had one missing shelf and another one broke spilling a 4 point bottle of milk all over the floor. The dishwasher cutlery basket was completely broken, and the dishwasher just couldn't get everything clean. We were having to wash a lot by hand and most things needed washing before being used. The washer/ dryer wouldn't dry at all and the wash had to be stopped after 4 hours. Looking on trip advisor, this had been reported weeks ago. Very irritating to learn that the owner knew it was faulty before we arrived. The hot tub had a missing cushion and a jet fell out- it looked like it had been broken for a while. It's a lovely house in a lovely spot, but needs some more attention from the owne
Still waiting for the return of my deposit over 2 weeks since coming home.. Property is very nice although I note that owner has the house on the market. Caretaker was unresponsive in terms of dealing with defective washing machine.Hot tub and TV was good. Kitchen lacked certain items as pointed out in previous reviews. I note that the good housekeeping bond is now £500 so be very wary about paying it if I was you.
The house is very beautiful but half way up a massive hill with a 20% gradient. Cycling down was very hairy, cycling up was a killer. The views are indeed stunning but the house has some serious deficits. Firstly the BBQ was filthy, I didn't fancy scrubbing it so we didn't use it. The hot tub wasn't as clean as it should be either. The white sofas need a deep clean as someone else mentioned and over all standards of cleanliness were not what you would expect for a rental costing over a thousand pounds. Since we returned I've also had trouble getting the owner to return my deposit despite there being no issues and me sending my bank details twice.
The house was amazing and extremely well looked after.. The caretaker was excellent and came daily to see to the hot tub which was good. Everything was so well organised by Sykes Cottafes that I would recommend them to everyone and will definitely book with them again. Such a lovely experience
The property was excellent but the area was a bit of a disappointment.. There was a firing range next to the beach so you couldn't get on or off the beach for most of its length. Not many walks so we needed to use the car a lot.
Excellent property.. Very clean, excellent fascilities. Would highly recommend.
This house was gorgeous, really nicely decorated and had a lovely sea view.. It was very clean and comfortable and had nearly everything you need for your stay, I would agree that they could do with a few casserole or bigger dishes if you’re cooking for 10, however that didn’t bother us. The hot tub was a nice addition and it was a quick walk down to the beach/pubs, the hill back up was a little more challenging. Would I stay again? Definitely!
We had a fantastic stay at this property, it's very clean and luxurious, the only disappointing thing was that we couldn't use the hot tub on the first day, as the lid had blown off and it needed to heat back up, but that's just one of those things that can't be helped! Would most definitely stay here again
Fab little break.. Plenty of facilities and extra clean. Lovely views to wake up to.
The property was fantastic and was excactly what i was looking for to celebrate my Wife's 40th birthday with our family.. The caretaker was extremely helpful and allowed me to send him via post some balloons and banners which were all put up ready for our arrival. He also allowed us to stay on an extra 2hrs as we had a carvery booked at a local pub. So overall i cannot fault how the weekend went and all our family and friends have commented on our photos on social media and have commented on how amazing the house was,so thank you for making a special weekend even more special.
Had a lovely family Christmas in this amazing place, so spacious and views were lovely. The only criticism was lack of kitchen equipment, no tea towels and towels for shower/ bath were small ( me being size 10 ) they were more like a large hand towel
I booked this fab house for a weekend away with old school friends, it ticked all the boxes.. Fabulous views of the beach, pub, cafe and shop a few minutes walk, 5 bedrooms / 4 ensuite .CLEAN , spacious VERY warm, very comfortable and a massive, if a little complicated TV! we could have done with a teenager to sort that out but eventually got to grips with it and it was wonderful to watch a DVD on a massive projected screen. The Hot tub was a hit and the locals in the pub were entertaining. The café did a very reasonably priced breakfast with loads of choice. Very enjoyable break. Thanks Bobby
Fabulous house with amazing views. Room proportions brilliant. Great space for a large party and children. Immaculately clean on arrival. Needs to have kitchen equipment updated. We had to buy a large pan and casserole dish. If the house sleeps 10 then equipment should be provided to cater for this many. Other than that a perfect weeks holiday.
Large house, 5 beds 4 baths/showers, with hot tub. Exceptional views across Pendine beach from lounge. Would suit large groups or families. Limited parking on drive .
However I would not classify this property as luxury. I feel it is tIred , the soft furnishings in the main lounge need deep clean. kitchen utensils poor, not good enough. Bbq I would not use. We were disappointed.
There are plenty of good restaurants , but they are a short drive.
This is a grear house! Plenty of room for 9 people and loads of bathrooms! The views are absolutley stunning. All amenities are provided and the kitchen is well equipped.
Absolutely stunning house and spotlessly clean.. Fantastic facilities, had the most wonderful time and looking to book again already.
Would highly recommend staying at this property and Sykes cottages made the booking seamless. Thank you
Mrs Curtis, May 2017
Loved the location.. Needs a much bigger fridge/ freezer for the occupancy
Bed slats in upstairs bedroom kept falling out in middle of night.
An amazing property though will definitely book again
A beautiful house! The living area was absolutely stunning, with huge windows making the most of the wonderful views across the sea. It was fresh and clean. The hot tub was fantastic at the end of a busy day enjoying everything the area has to offer. The bedrooms were beautiful and immaculately clean.
We hired this home for a week and what a find. Stunning views that you can not tire of. Somewhat breathtaking! The house sleeps 10 with 5 bedrooms. All rooms bar one have en suite facilities (the one without has a loo right next door!). Large spacious living area on first floor (an upside down house!) with great seating area and additional sofas facing a large TV and projector. Still, why watch TV when you have that view? Also has the added bonus of a hot tub which we used twice despite the horrendous (normal?) weather we experienced. The owners keep it hot all year round so we could jump right in. We found the home comfortable. Beautiful fixtures and fittings this place is done out to a high standard. Beds were comfy and bathrooms beautifully fitted. Only slight criticisms were around the standard and variety of kitchen utensils (little worn and few items missing that were key to a self catering holiday). However, so very minor in the scale of things. We used Pendine as a Base to explore as the place itself is not hugely appealing (apart from the beach). We had a 10 month baby in our party and thr owners provided a travel cot and highchair. Overall, great place and despite weather, would love to visit again.
Mrs Bailey, July 2016
The location, the view was spectacular and the quality of the house and gardens was of a very high standard.. We would definitely return there and recommend to family and friends.

The house is gorgeous and really special. The size alone meant that everyone could relax and find somewhere they felt comfy.
Had a fantastic long weekend away with friends. The house is amazing, underfloor heating and every mod-con you could think of. I imagine in the summer it would feel like being abroad due to the tiled flooring and huge windows. The upstairs contains an ensuite double room with two joined living rooms and an open plan kitchen/dining area. Downstairs are four bedrooms and bathrooms, utility room and opens out onto the patio with a hot tub. We all slept well and the sofas are perfect for snuggling on. A perfect house, and we would love to return again.
We also had a disabled person with us who we reserved the upstairs bedroom for. They can climb stairs when given time and this meant they only had to climb the stairs at the start and end of the trip, which was much easier for them. As the kitchen and living areas are upstairs, it could be lonely for a more disabled person.

An absolutely breathtaking property which overlooks Pensine. The property has taken great advantage of the views and the house is tastefully decorated. There were plenty facility for 6 people and the hot tub was ideally located! I would definitely recommend this property to others and hope to visit soon!!!

What a fabulous property! Views are superb and comfort is high on the agenda. All fixtures and furnishings are of a very high standard, linens luxurious and comfortable. We all had a wonderful week there.
We had an amazing three night break, the house is stunning and truly a dream home. If only the Welsh weather was as amazing. We were already discussing a return trip on our 1st night there!
