There's a variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants to explore in the popular market towns of Helmsley and Pickering. Local attractions include Duncombe Park, Nunnington Hall and Castle Howard. You could also head to Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast, slightly further afield. Hutton le Hole, approximately 6 miles away, boasts gift shops, pubs, the Ryedale Museum and is ideal for walkers. Visit the Rosedale Valley, home of Rosedale Abbey and the renowned glass blowing factory. Step inside the spacious open plan studio style living space and let the beauty surround you.
