This was our 3rd visit to this delightful cottage. Well equipped. Owners very friendly. Views beautiful. Newport Beach close by and very dog friendly. A short run to get provisions but not a real problem as it is so peaceful around the cottage. Always love the little cakes on arrival (I am wondering if I just go for them l.o.l. )

This was a second visit to this lovely little cottage. Pity the weather was rubbish. Still love the cakes that are there on our arrival. So peaceful here and feel quite safe. Easy access to Newport Beach which our dog loves He was so excited at being there and loves an ice cream from the little shop there

This was certainly the best and cleanest cottage we have ever stayed in.. The peace and quiet was wonderful. We enjoyed travelling along the beautiful country lanes and were delighted to find dog friendly beaches for our two energetic dogs. The lovely owners were around if required even though they had left lots of helpful information in the cottage. We hope to visit again.

The cottage exceeded what it looked like in the photos.. Very friendly hosts. Stunning area. Plenty to do and see. Superb for walking. Very dog friendly. Great facilities, managed to make home cooked meals without a problem. Lovely big fridge to keep fresh food for the whole week. Great to have a door between the kitchen and stairs to stop the dogs trying to go up. Also a great area behind the door to store things away from the dogs. Fully enclosed back garden for the dogs. Really nice area for them. Very clear rubbish instructions and good selection of leaflets and information about the area. Our personal preference would be a more comfy sofa we could snuggle in, but just personal preference and the time of year......it is impossible to cater for everyone’s tastes.

This cottage is beautifully furnished and well equipped. Spacious for two. Fantastic view of hills from breakfast table. Very secure and private garden. Dog friendly. Located on small farm outside Newport. An easy drive to the local beach, plentiful restaurants in Newport and a local pub and on the coast path. Highly recommended for a couple with canine companions!! It would be a great place to go with a larger group who could stay in other cottages on the farm.

The cottage was very spacious and the furniture and fittings were excellent. The spa bath was a bonus and the wifi which had recently been introduced. There was a good welcome from the owner. The cottage is well placed to reach beaches and towns in Pembrokeshire. It is very quiet and restful. We really enjoyed our stay and it was one of the best cottages we had stayed in.

Y Cwtch is an amazing cottage in a great location. It was a perfect holiday with the dog. There was a great jacuzzi bath. We loved the quiet and private accommodation.
September 2015
Y Cwtch is a real find. Hidden away down a lane, it has a clean, crisp, stylish interior with very good quality furnishings including a well-equipped kitchen was great to cook in. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We loved it. Only downside for some people would be that it's a drive to the nearest pub/shops - not a problem for us. Although there are other cottages on site, it felt very private.

What a fantastic 3 night stay we have just had at Y Cwtch! We cannot fault it - the cottage is absolutely stunning, immaculately clean, spacious, airy and light. The garden at the back is lovely to sit out in - there is a big lawn and patio area - we enjoyed lunches out there, breakfast and had an evening BBQ in the short time we were there! The views from the cottage were lovely, and we woke up to the stunning welsh countryside and the rolling fields/hills. The family who own the cottage were so nice and friendly - they left us to feel at home and we felt totally relaxed and feeling we could get on with doing our own thing which made the cottage feel even more like home. Will definitely be back to visit here again and can't wait to stay at Y Cwtch for a second time - have already recommended to many family friends.

The cottage is very spacious for a one bed roomed holiday let. It is furnished to a high standard and is clean and well maintained. The view from the full length kitchen window was stunning. The location is fantastic with two great beaches locally and a number of lovely towns/villages and attractions on your doorstep. St David's is less than an hour away and worth the trip. We loved how homely the cottage was! We liked that we could relax and chill out as we were out in the countryside which is quiet and remote. As we live in the city this was perfect, just what we needed.
December 2012
Hi, I've been asked to write a review about our stay in Y Cwtch in Pembrokeshire/Wales end of august/beginning of September 2012, and I am glad to provide a very good review. This unique little cosy semi detached cottage had everything one could ask for a weekend or longer away. it was clean, tidy, modern but with character (you see the love and craftsmenship which went into this little property throughout). It was cosy, warm and cute to live in. The fact it's semidetached didn't matter at all with the thick welsh stone walls! :) The surroundings of the farm are very tidy as well, the countryside is lovely...we fell in love with it...the viwe from the kitchen (a floor- to ceiling window infront of you r kitchen table to breakfast on..s.tunning!...in every weather). It's situated near the sea. In a 20min walk you are there and the walks you can do there in the area in a loneliness, peace and quiet are providing you with even more of the superb view of land and sea. Then the little Y Cwtch welcomes you back everyday like your home! The welcome present was very sweet - some muffins, a bottle of tasty crisp white wine and some milk for the first morning. We really couldn't ask for more. There are other cottages just opposite but we barely heard or seen the other guests, so we did feel very much like left on our own which was exacty what we were looking for as this has been our honeymoon. Thanks a lot! Worth every penny.

It was a time to chill and that is what the area afforded us, what we needed at that time. What it said on the can.

The finish of this little cottage was superb. A modern interior for people from today in a character cottage from yesterday. The welcome pack of home-made cupcakes and a bottles of nice, crisp, white wine was a lovely treat.
