Our holiday here was as fantastic as ever - our 5th visit! Tom is the most amazing host, so kind and thoughtful. The facilities in the cottage are excellent and he has thought of everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. The views and tranquility of the cottage setting are second to none. The welcome pack on arrival is always very well received, such a kind gesture. Tom really is outstanding and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

This cottage was so much better that I had expected.. The photos do show it accurately, but somehow it was so much nicer when we arrived and could see it in the flesh. I didn't want to go home! Tom was an added bonus. Such a kind man. He gave us fresh eggs from the farm and was lovely to chat with. The goats were hilarious and the Guard Geese were characters. There were even baby ducklings to greet us. My boys are 6 and 9 and they had a ball. You can walk from the cottage and the countryside is stunning. Even on a wet day I loved being there, watching the landscape change. Rolling hills and sheep as far as your eye can see. The cottage was clean, a high standard of fixtures and fittings, a great kitchen and lots of space. It was perfect for us. I miss it x

Large bungalow with amazing views and great internet for how rural the place is.. Issues I had was. ... The owners house is literally next to the bungalow and all images shown are positioned so that you can not see how close it is, which seemed deceiving and felt watched during our stay. ... There was no instructions on how to use the appliances. ... Limited basic necessities, 1 roll of toilet paper per toilet and 1 bin bag per bin so during our short 3 night stay we had to buy these things for our stay, which seemed a bit much considering it cost 300 for the weekend out of season in november. Other then these things the place was spotless and the area is beautiful so if you can handle these flaws then you will adore this stay

Really lovely cottage.. Very spacious, really comfortable and spotless. Lovely views and loved the sheep and geese. The owner Tom is a lovely man, very friendly. Ideal stay if have children as they would enjoy it. Would love to return one day. The travel directions given from Sykes were incorrect eg left turns when it should have been right turns so it took us a while to find the cottage.

This cottage belongs to the nicest owner you could ever wish to meet! A fabulous, kind lovely man Mr Jones who went out of his way to make everything completely perfect for us including a fully decorated Christmas tree, mince pies and mulled wine. He deserves to be fully booked for the whole year!

Cottage was lovely and owner really great.. Fresh eggs and interesting animals. Great views. Would go back again. However we both feel let down by Sykes. We found out that weeks before and after we booked(which was last November) had recently changed and were a lot cheaper. We queried the price before we booked as family member has seen cottage at a different price on Sykes website. When I “ chatted “to one your colleagues , I was told it was because of events in the area. When questioned of events, the events in question were many miles away from cottage , so feel this was just an excuse. Have used Sykes many times before but don’t think I would use again. I thought Sykes could be trusted. Seems to me that all you care about is taking my money. Not happy with how you have treated a loyal customer. Could not fault property. We had a great holiday. Many thanks to Mr Tom Jones.

We had a relaxing holiday in this beautiful cottage.. Property was immaculately clean, very well equipped and had wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The farmer (Tom) was very welcoming and brought us fresh eggs from his chickens. Our toddler loved going to visit the goats, chickens, geese and sheep. Would definitely recommend :-)

The farmer/owner Tom was really lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for you.. He brought us fresh eggs which were so tasty. The cottage was very clean and the bathrooms were particularly clean. Constant hot water and the water pressure was really good. Wi Fi was good too. The views were beautiful a really lovely cottage which we hope to go back to.

This is a very well put together cottage that is perfect for families or groups - lovely main sitting room with a wonderful log fire, and Tom the owner, keeps the log supply fully stocked.. Kitchen has all that you could need. Two bathrooms means that there is no morning rows. It is very well thought out. The large picture window from the lounge gives great views of the countryside with Red Kites hovering seemingly within reach. Driving to and from the cottage you pass a small flock of geese (there were more but a fox reduced the numbers) and they honk their welcome which was endlessly funny to us - especially as they would run into things as they were so focused on honking at us. Highly recommended

We spent a fantastic 4 days, completely relaxed and it was lovely to just spend time taking in the beautiful surroundings and not having to rush around. A real break from reality! Beautiful setting, amazing property which was extremely well equipped. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and will definitely be back soon! Y Bwthyn was a fantastic getaway to escape the everyday stresses that life can bring. We loved the idyllic scenery and the copious amounts of places to walk and take the dog. The owners were exceptionally hospitable, to the extent that they even allowed us to have cuddles with the lambs. We will definitely be back again this year - we couldn't fault the week we had!! :)

The children really enjoyed the wood burner in the evening. The view from the breakfast table were amazing and we spent a lot of time watching the red kites gliding. A great place to get way from it all.

The owner was so nice and welcoming. The cottage and the area was outstanding and all that we could hope for in our weeks break. The cottage was so clean and very comfortable, the bed linen and the bed was so comfortable. The shower and both bathrooms were spotless. Stunning views from the cottage and lots of wildlife too. Amazing, we have stayed at so many cottages over the last few years and this was by far the best we have stayed in.
