The attractive village of Penygroes rests on the outskirts of Snowdonia National Park and near the glorious Welsh coast. Visitors can stop for a drink at The Goat or a sweet treat at Yr Orsaf, before heading to the beach at Aberdesach to bask in the sun and embark on the Welsh Coastal Path. History lovers will enjoy visiting Caernarfon with its castle and fortress, or continuing on to Menai Bridge and Bangor with their many landmarks and attractions waiting to be experienced.
