A brilliant property with everything you could wish for in a holiday property.. Have stayed in many cottages and this rates as one of the very best. Lovely welcome pack and fresh flowers. The area is lovely with lots of things to do. We loved it and will be back for sure. Thanks to Dee for going the extra mile. Wonderful.

The owner of the cottage could not have been more helpful and had had also provided a welcome pack, for which we were grateful.. The cottage was in beautiful condition and was in a wonderfully peaceful location a short drive from Buckie.

This well laid out cottage was clean and warm on arrival, with the lights on to show us in.. We walked in to a very large basket of welcoming goodies - tea, biscuits, wine, treats for the dog and more. The garden was secure so we were able to let our dog trot around safely without worry. From the summerhouse we sat and sipped our coffee while watching the deer and wildlife in the adjacent fields. And the view across the Moray Firth was lovely to gaze at from the summerhouse too. During our stay the owner went beyond the normal lengths to make our stay as lovely as possible, even welcoming us back after we had to leave to deal with an issue back at home (which we had thought would prevent us continuing our holiday). It is definitely the sort of cottage that we prefer and we would recommend to others.

The cottage was in a very peaceful location and was perfect for our needs.. The owner had gone out of her way to make the cottage welcoming. She left us a very thoughtful welcome pack with all the essentials we needed, coffee milk bread and many others. Also treats for the dog! The towels were set out beautifully with tartan ribbon which added to the tasteful decor of the cottage. Thank you we had a great holiday.

A perfect good sized cottage that is remote enough to enjoy the quiet and still not too far from town.. The summer house is amazing at night with a drink and just watch the sea views. Owner had everything covered from spare dog lead in case we for got ours to local take away menus. I loved every minute of my stay.

This was a lovely cottage, well presented with a few added extras on arrival.. The surrounding area has lots of small coastal towns which provide lots of interest. This is the first time I have booked one of Sykes cottages and would not hesitate in using them again. I would definitely return

This cottage gets a 10/10 in every category; the setting is rural, quiet and idyllic, yet only a 10 minute drive from the nearest town, with stunning views over the Moray Firth to the Cromarty mountains beyond, which any artist would be jealous of.. I've been self-catering for over 20 years and this cottage is surely the best yet; cleanliness and equipment is of a very high standard and there is great attention to detail, including some welcome extras for the dog- it is better than a home from home!
