A very good location, with a handy grocery store within 5 minutes walk and a the nearest pub within 15 mins walk.. Plenty to explore in the area. Unfortunately, being on a busy main road, traffic noise was intrusive, especially in the living room. The boiler, though very efficient in keeping the place warm, was also noisy and did at times come on at night, disturbing sleep.

Nice warm and cosy cottage in a convenient position to drive in several directions.. Good facilities and the albeit small fridge and freezer was adequate. Dishwasher handy though had to run it daily since there wasn't enough crockery for a longer period. Although we in fact managed to park off-road at the owners B&B next door we would have preferred a dedicated parking space for the cottage. There was always the worry that we might have to park on the busy road outside.

The owners, Lois and Brendan, run a bed & breakfast next door to the cottage and they have ensured that guests have everything they need. Beautifully restored and decorated, with a very well appointed kitchen and large bathroom with excellent shower. The whole cottage is very well heated, with a log fire if you want it. Great bedroom with views to die for and a very comfortable bed. This really is a perfect, cosy cottage to stay in to explore this area of outstanding natural beauty. Our first visit to this area of Britain and we have been blown away by the towns, villages and, of course, the hills. Croome House and gardens are well worth a visit. Great Malvern is an attractive and vibrant town - we saw a kingfisher in the beautiful Priory Gardens. Loads of great walks and country pubs everywhere. Totally recommend.

Woodland Cottage is a little gem.. Lois and Brendan are very kind and helpful hosts. The cottage is great for a couple, or three people maximum. It is beautifully decorated and the views from the bedroom are outstanding.. We were very cosy during our New Year stay and loved coming back to the cottage, and the log fire ,after a day out in the spectacular Malvern Hills. I would definitely recommend Woodland Cottage.

Cottage was lovely.. Nice and clean, well heated, with good kitchen equipment. Nice hot shower. Characterful cottage. Very close to footpaths leading up to the hills. We were able to park off-road. There was a basket of firewood provided, though you have to buy your own once that's gone. And a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. Really very pleased.

The cottage was perfect for my daughter and my stay.. Perfectly Clean and lovely and warm. The sofa bed in the lounge was a plus (we hadn’t noticed that in the details). As we were on a under 17 driving course at the Three Counties Showground this was the perfect retreat as an easy 5 minutes drive. We would definitely recommend it.

I found Sykes a very professional organisation.. The owners of Woodland Cottage were very friendly and helpful, but Sykes are terribly let down by their recommended insurance company. We had to cancel our holiday after two days due to food poisoning. The insurance company were Less than helpful. As a consequence I will not be using Sykes again, nor will I be recommending it to anyone.

We enjoyed the cottage and it's location, however we feel that the FRIDAY change over day wasn't properly communicated.. We booked fairly recently, as the result of having had previous half term plans changed. We definitely entered Saturday to Saturday into the online calendar (in line with my husband's working pattern). It was a shock to be contacted on Friday 1st June, being told that we should have vacated that day! Having to return to the cottage, pack up and leave in a hurry was inconvenient and embarrassing. Admittedly the small print does give Friday (25th ) as the arrival date, but it was FAR from clear. A Friday start date doesn't seem very practical, for most people, unless you are only staying for the weekend, hardly very customer friendly, is it? Please spend less time bombarding us, daily, with advertising e-mails and more time highlighting the pertinent facts. We have already booked another cottage for August, the experience in Malvern has left us feeling anxious and disappointed. Let's hope our next experience is more positive.

The cottage was a delight and very quirky.. We both loved it. If thinking of visiting the area again would probably try and book this cottage as it was ideal for our needs.

Just got back from a relaxing week staying at Woodland cottage. What a lovely place, so full of character. It's a perfect base for exploring the Malvern hills and beyond. Lovely eating in the cosy kitchen in the evening complete with candles and fairy lights. ( Might have to book again nearer Christmas!) Ate out at the local pub three times. Food excellent. Good curry night and Italian night. Quiz night was hilarious but probably not intentional. Thanks Lois and Brendan . We will definitely recommend your cottage to friends and family

taking advantage of a last minute change of plans to have a relaxed christmas away , we selected this cottage from sykes website , we were pleased that it would accept our 'custom' booking (four days across christmas) that many wouldn't. after an easy journey , we were welcomed in person by Brendon and Lois ,shown the cottage and treated to some delicious mulled wine. the cottage is larger than the pictures suggest ,with a delightfully comfortable bed , beautifully lit for lazy mornings, a cosy living room for evenings by the fire and a clean , smart and convivial kitchen. although the weather was wet we enjoyed the surrounding countryside , with some short walks and drives, but were always keen and happy to get back to Woodlands, A big thanks to Brendon and Lois for achieving so much with the cttage and extending such a warm welcome, Adrian and Alison
