Holiday home
Situated in the pretty, rural hamlet of Pott Row, this detached bungalow is just six miles from Kings Lynn. Offering comfortable and spacious accommodation throughout, this property features a traditional sitting room with open fire, a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a beautiful garden boasting views over open fields. Pott Row features a pretty village green and a traditional butcher's shop whilst the amenities of Kings Lynn are also within easy reach. The area is packed with great activities, all within a reasonable driving distance, offering visitors to this lovely property a wonderful mix of seaside, city and woodland.

With its pretty village green and traditional butcher's shop, the tiny hamlet of Pott Row is idyllically located on the outskirts of the Roydon Common Nature Reserve. Composed of nearly 500 acres of heathland, fen, grassland and woodland this impressive area offers superb walking opportunities. The neighbouring hamlets of Grimston, Roydon and Congham are home to a selection of good pubs, whilst nearby Middleton Hall Golf Club offers visitors a chance to try out its 18-hole course. The 12th Century Castle Rising, built by William II and modelled on the keep at Norwich Castle, is close by, as is Babingley River, a haven for nature lovers with a fascinating circular walk. Sandringham is a mere five miles away and well worth visiting, whilst the medieval port town of Kings Lynn provides winding streets and a host of shops, pubs and restaurants. Also within easy driving distance is pretty resort town of Hunstanton - renowned for its lovely beaches.

Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.

Lovely big bungalow with every facility.. Large enclosed garden and patio. The weather was awful but we had a nice relaxing time in Willow Sunrise.
Mrs Johnson

This is our third visit to willow sunrise it feels very familiar now and like home from home
Mrs Taylor
March 2019
This place need to be up dated.. Too many instructions and silly notices about the place. For instance how to clean saucepans. We are now home could not stand it any longer. The person who enjoyed was the dog. Light in lounge was not bright enough to read at night. Never left a property 5 days before the leaving time.
Ms Tebbs

Very comfortable clean bungalow lovely area
September 2018
If you want somewhere clean and comfortable with plenty of parking and a lovely garden then this is it! If you want a glass conservatory to sit back, relax and whatever the weather, watch the birds soaring etc then this is it! If you want somewhere you are immediately made to feel welcome in, then the secret to it is to say nothing and give no feedback, otherwise you cannot book your favourite spot in next years calendar - but we have already booked 2 weeks for 2019 - so there!!

Accommodation excellent.. Very pretty area. Several local pubs to choose from, not all good. Enjoyed exploring the area. Sandringham was just up the road, which was a very good afternoon out. Within easy reach of beaches. Would visit again.
Mrs Gentry
March 2018
Could not recommend it more, wonderful in every way! Despite the unusually bad weather conditions and the snow and ice delaying our arrival by one day the owners could not have been more helpful, ensuring they kept us up to date with the road conditions and making sure the cottage was warm and cosy upon our arrival. It is our fifth visit, the cottage is a home from home with every facility you would wish for and more that you may not even have thought of, even Bonnie the dog was catered for with towels, bedding and biscuits! We will be back in September for more!
Mr Twigg
October 2017
The Bungalow was extremely comfy and homely The welcome goods above expectation.. The number and species of birds that visited the seeder each was amazing,
Mrs Hodkin
September 2017
We enjoyed our holiday very much apart from the British weather which was neither the cottage fault or Sykes.. We have now been to Willow Sunrise 4 times. It is so spacious and extremely well equipped! Joy and Colin have thought of every thing. The conservatory is just excellent to sit in day or night. Our dog ceasar the German Shepherd just loved galloping about on the lovely back garden. We was all sad to leave and return to Sheffield.
Ms Burness
July 2017
This is our second stay at Willow Sunrise, and hopefully there will be many more.. The bungalow is absolutely beautiful, they have thought of everything to make staying there fantastic, spotlessly clean and very comfy beds, could not have asked for better - really felt like a home away from home and we didn't want to leave! Garden is glorious - huge grassed area that the dogs loved, peaceful without being cut off in the middle of nowhere. We had a fabulous holiday, so easy to get to other places from the bungalow, large supermarkets, garden centre, pet shops and others just a short journey away, and did not take long to get to the beach at Old Hunstanton which is our preferred beach because it is dog friendly all year round. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home again this year!
Ms Enever
June 2017

It was a very cosy and comfortable bungalow with everything we could have wished for. The property was very well kitted out and lots of helpful little notes dotted around from the owner.

We liked the amount of room we had against other holiday properties we have been too, the storage space was great in the bedrooms and the amount of bathrooms and toilets was an asset. We enjoyed Pott Row and have already booked again for next year. We loved to sit and watch the birds in the garden and hope they are still there next year.

We found Willow Sunrise a very clean, comfortable homely cottage. An ideal holiday base for the Kings Lynn area. Had a friendly welcome from owners on arrival who provided a very useful welcome pack. Loads of helpful info was provided, it basically had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay owners had clearly gone out of their way to provide plenty of family extras like beach toys. The place had a homely feel which was nice to return to. We were sorry to leave!

A lovely spacious home, comfortable, very well equipped and clean. There was plenty of information supplied about the house with books, brochures and advice on places to go, see and eat. We were grateful to have a special welcome pack on our arrival. Our stay was very pleasant and we were sorry to leave at the end of the week. The only addition this house needs would be to have WIFI available. We would certainly recommend this property.

August 2011
A lovely home-from-home to return to each night and eating evening meals in the garden!
August 2011
This was our second visit to Willow Sunrise and we found it just as charming, comfortable and enjoyable as the first one. The bungalow is spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a superb garden which is highly suitable for children and dogs. The owners, Mr and Mrs Barlow go to great lengths to make your holiday as happy as possible, providing not only a kind gift of fruit and milk on arrival for the humans but a nice little dog treat for the pooch, which I think is a lovely thought. The village of Pott Row is an extremely convenient location for going out and about and exploring the area, and at the same time it is quiet and peaceful. There is a pub nearby where the food is excellent, and a chip shop, petrol station and store a couple of miles away at Gayton. I can thoroughly recommend booking this property, it is a happy place to be. I honestly can't think of anything we did not like about it. Many thanks indeed to Mr and Mrs Barlow for providing a super holiday venue.
Mrs Hodkin

A lovely spacious and comfortable bungalow in a very peaceful village. We got a great welcome from the owners so it was three old-age-pensioners off to a flying start. We were out sightseeing every day and the place very quickly began to feel like home when we returned to rest and recover from our daily excursions. We would go to it again.
Mrs Sharp
June 2011

Willow Sunrise is an extremely comfortable 'home from home', and the property owners make every endeavour to ensure that visitors have a lovely stay there. We liked many things about the property, but for us, the main attractions were the spacious living accommodation, the comfortable beds, the cleanliness and the wonderful garden where our dog could play in complete safety.

Large, spacious and very well equipped bungalow in a nice location. Safe large garden for children and dog. We received a very warm welcome from the owners and felt very at home. Extra care had been taken to make sure our stay was as good as it could be, and the extra touches like milk in the fridge, fruit basket, hand wash etc. made it seem extra special. The bungalow was well equipped and very big so there was plenty of space. The garden and conservatory were lovely. I would have no hesitation in recommending both the bungalow and Sykes as the booking company to friends and family. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Willow Sunrise was an exceptionally spacious bungalow, with lots of room for us all. Nice large garden for the grandchildren to play and lots of games and puzzles to keep them amused as well. The Owners made us very welcome on our arrival. The extras that they supplied was a very thoughtful gesture and most welcome. Very nice location for ease of access to local tourist attractions and even travelling further afield. The weather was not very good, but despite the chill outside the bungalow was lovely and warm. June 2010
Made very welcome when we arrived and given local information about shops and attractions. Cannot fault the accommodation.
May 2010
We stay in lots of holiday cottages and most are nothing more than that. Willow Sunrise is the owners' home and it was a pleasure to borrow it for a week. It is very well equipped with plenty of room and a vast garden which our dogs really enjoyed. Norfolk in springtime is lovely and Pott Row is an ideal centre from which to explore. We enjoyed watching hares and lambs in the fields and an astonishing variety of birds on the coast. The pubs and cafes are welcoming and sell decent food at reasonable prices. We recommend visiting Langham Glass, Le Strange Barns at Old Hunstanton and the Ecotech Centre at Swaffham. There are country houses, castles, farm parks and great museums all within easy reach. If you want a longer but worthwhile trip, try the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire. We were very happy during our stay in Norfolk. It is a beatiful county and one we will be visiting again.
December 2009
Set in a very peacful village with a stream running down the centre of the green, this cottage was very comfortable. The furnishings were a mix of eras and most rooms retained the look of a bygone day. It was ideally situated for trips to York and to the coast and surrounding hills. The village pub was excellent and residents very friendly.
December 2009
the decor might not be modern or to everyone's taste but it was all immaculately clean, tidy and had everything you could need in a home from home. Beds were comfortable and bedding and towels were provided. more than enough room for all and the garden was fantastic. the owner's were lovely and were on call when we needed them. we had a wonderful holiday
December 2009
A lovely bungalow in a small village, with many nearby attractions. The owners came to greet us on arrival, everything we needed was there (except food). Spacious lounge with colour TV, ample crockery and cutlery in the kitchen, comfortable beds and a plethora of toilets! Enclosed gardens but we have no dog, bird table outside lounge window visited by a variety of birds. Sandringham, Stettisham, Hunstanton and Norfolk Lavender all within easy reach with other attractions too numerous to mention between them. We found one week was not enough to visit everywhere we wanted to go.
Miss Parsons
