Having booked late, we were uncertain about what to expect.. However, we need not have worried. The property was exceptional and included everything we needed. It was spacious, comfortable and very well-equipped. Space outside allowed our granddaughter to ride her scooter and play football. Parking for two cars was next to the Lodge, The owner welcomed us and gave a short insight to the area and facilities but did not bother us after that. The property is situated in a lovely part of Kent, fairly remote but easy to get out from. We had a day visiting Deal, the White Cliffs of Dover (NT) and Hastings to see family. Day 2 we visited the Wildlife centre then went to Herne Bay for the beach. Day 3 we walked up the road to Goodnestone Gardens which were well worth a visit. Then a trip into Canterbury in the afternoon. The farm shop up the road provided our dinner on Day 3 - as good as home-cooked! All in all, we were sorry we couldn't stay longer but it was a great holiday cottage in a superb location.

Matt was a fantastic host, the property was lovely very cosy and peaceful.. Would love to go back and stay in the summer as the patio area has fantastic views. You won’t be disappointed if you book this property. Close to Canterbury and costal towns.

Great property, all the luxuries you want for a getaway location.. Our host Matt was very welcoming and on hand if you have any issues (we didn't!). Lovely views of the countryside, secure parking, privacy, near to everywhere (ask Matt where to go for pizza and fish & chips in Aylesham!) = brilliant. Excellent location, we visited lots of places, highly recommend Canterbury, Broadstairs, Herne Bay, Sandwich & Deal. Go to Gibson's farm shop for breakfast and The Anchor for lunch or dinner, both in Wingham (about 3 miles away). Really fortunate with the weather, we had a great week - definitely be back to visit again.

Willow Lodge is the perfect place to stay.. Everything about the accommodation has been thought through very carefully with every comfort catered for. The owner is very helpful and always accessible but not intrusive. Not only is the accommodation excellent, the situation of Willow Lodge makes places of interest very easy to visit with Adisham station very nearby making Canterbury very easy to visit by train. A very peaceful, excellent holiday accommodation. Fully recommended.

Visited for a week, 14th of Sept, First impressions as you arrived was "wow".. Off road parking with Security gates, the building is decorated beautifully, loved the open plan living area, freesat and good speed wifi, really comfortable furniture. Bedrooms are lovely, two singles in one and a double in other. Double bed is quite low in case you have trouble getting out or in.We didn't. Wet room is great as took my mother with us and all being on one level is just perfect. Lovely seating area for outside seating. Ice maker and chilled water dispenser built in to fridge. The owner, Matt who lives next door is a legend. Really nice and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you for a wonderful week. Oh and the weather was perfect as well ;o)

This cottage far exceeded our expectations, Matt the owner has excelled in making this an inviting and comfortable place to stay with modern fittings and thoughtful layout.. The surrounding area is great to explore with Dover and Canterbury a short trip from the very local train station, which means that not every excursion has to be by car. We’d love to re-visit, thanks Matt!

This is by far the highest standard accommodation I have stayed in.. It is not close to amenities but Aylesham, about a mile down the road has everything you need and more. The facilities are excellent and comfortable and Matt, the host is incredibly kind and thoughtful. This is a flagship property and is delight to visit.

How do you top excellence? My friend and I have used Sykes for 14 years and have always been pleased with the standard of their holidays lets. However we both feel Willow Lodge is one of the best of their lets, if not the best of them all!! The owner is so helpful and we can't fault the accommodation at all. We spent a restful week in Willow Lodge and explored the area which contains everything one would need to achieve this. Well done Sykes and well done Matt Page the owner.

Fantastic We have stayed in many self catering cottages over the years but this has been the best.. The location was brilliant only a short drive to A2. The accommodation was wonderful, well equipped and very comfortable. The hosts were there when needed but not intrusive and very friendly. The cottage is far better than it seems on the web site and views from the back are beautiful. A lovely walk to the pub along country lanes makes for a nice end to the day. Could not fault it.

It would not be possible to improve on this property, the grounds are immaculate, the kitchen and bathrooms are so high spec that I think we need to remodel when we get home! The beds and bed linens are luxurious and the whole place is comfortable yet stunning. It worked perfectly for an elderly person with poor mobility without seeming institutional for anyone else. We can't wait to go back.

Absolutely superb.. Far exceeded our expectations!!! Everything was to a very high standard. We have stayed in many holiday cottages with Sykes and other companies but this one was the very best. This property is the best we have ever stayed in and are looking forward to going back again next year.. Matt the owner lives next door and if there was any problem (which there never was) he said to call anytime. We liked having a keyfob to let ourselves in through the gate especially as we have a new car. The property is in a beautiful area but not far from places to visit. I strongly recommend people to visit this property all in all jobsagoodun. Thank you Matt your property is a credit to you.

We had a wonderful week at Willow Lodge - two adults and two children aged eight and six.. We were the very first guests to stay at this new cottage. The cottage itself was immaculate, beautifully furnished and fitted with a genuine luxury, five-star feel. Both the bathrooms were fabulous, with enormous showers, and the living room had plenty of space for us to stretch out and relax. Good speed wireless internet, too. The location is extremely quiet both day and night, but with plenty of activities a short drive away. We made full use of the front lawn for croquet and the rear lawn for ball games and bird watching, and were made to feel very welcome by Matt and his father. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Willow Lodge to anyone for a week in the Kent countryside.
