The "cottage" was not as it was advertised, it was Listed as a one bed cottage, not a flat inside someone's home, if we had known this we would not have rented it.. Living effectively with someone if not the experience we wanted due to the awkward feeling of always knowing they where there. The garden was very pretty, but you had to go through a shed full of rubbish to get there and you are made aware on arrival that the owners dog does not like other dogs so are always on edge that it may be there. The games room was non existent, the room had a lot of the owners rubbish from the owners and generally was not a pleasent place to be. The owners are nice people and personally I put the majority of the problems down to you (the advertiser) but even so I think some serious changes need to be made to be taking that sort of money from people. Property was great, ideally situated, clean and well equipped.. The sofa was very uncomfortable and neither myself or my wife were able to sit on it for very long.

We received a very warm, friendly welcome from the owner. The property is lovely and has an amazingly large well kept garden with countryside and sea views. It is in a very good location for walks and is only approximately 10mins away from Ilfracombe and the beach at Woolacombe is gorgeous. We also found the area to be very dog friendly as well as many of the pubs. A plaque hangs inside the entrance hall reading Enter as strangers leave as friends - this really sums up our wonderful stay. We will be returning for two weeks next year!
