Self-Catering Reviews

There were an abundance of beautiful beaches to discover, mountain hiking and cycling and an unforgettable boats trip on which dolphins joined us to play around the boat.. The house had all you could wish for, wonderful views, a very well equipped kitchen and lots of space for all of us, with quiet corners for the ones who needed to do some work as well. My morning cycle around Malin Head before breakfast was beautiful, so tranquil, stunning landscape, views and the wonderful scent of blossoming heather in the air. If I could have one wish before we come back it would be if the double bed in the room with the ensuite toilet could be changed to a little more upmarket model. But that is really the only wish I would have. And we will most certainly be back!

Picture of this house dont do it justice .. Its huge and very impressive . The view is stunning and facilities great . Nice walk down to the beach and kids didnt want to leave . Very relaxing and wished there was a way to book the sauna too as it would have been a great addition . Will be returning soon as its now on our favourites list . Thanks

This is a lovely property.. Ideally located for a relaxing break away, good aspect but the interior of the property is looking a little tired and would benefit from freshening up.

The house has amazing views and is very comfortable.. .. essential for a holiday where the weather is variable. I spent a long time searching for a place like this and was delighted that it is even better in reality.

Danes like REAL coffee! ! We really missed, something so simple as a coffee machine or caffetier which would have made our coffee brewing much easier. A gas lighter for tea lights for "hygge". EU transformers for duffers like us who left them at home! Unfortunately we had awful weather and the fantastic view from the house only revealed itself a couple of times. If and when you see it, treasure it and take some photos, because it is a wow factor.

The cottage is situated in a beautiful part of the world.. The view from the cottage is spectacular with the added bonus of the there being so much wildlife to see. Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, Hen Harrier, Buzzard, Harbour Porpoise, Seals and Dolphin all seen from the garden. Malin Head and the surrounding areas are a fantastic places to explore. The cottage itself was great and comfortable. It has the potential to be upgrade to a higher star rating and we would thoroughly recommend staying here.

This place is a treasure both in its location and its level of comfort and cleanliness.. The bad reviews by some people are unjustified nit-picking claptrap, typical of social media.

The views from this cottage are AMAZING! It is pretty remote, but the views are worth the drive. Very well stocked with all the items we needed to cook & clean. The cottage itself was beautiful and comfortable. We would stay again!

Beautiful views from the window.. Lots of space in the house, Really lovely area to explore We found the kitchen a bit grubby, oven not clean, cupboards, drawers. Didn't seem to be any cleaning products to clean, ie bathrooms, w.c. Couldn't find a hoover. Didn't stop us having a lovely holiday

Owner a little unfriendly and passed a comment on keeping house as we found it to my youngest son.. As there were 4 of us all male. But how we found it, was broken toilet lid, toilet roll holder ripped off wall. Towel rail half pulled off wall. Chewing gum on settee and rug. 2 toilets unuseble as blocked. Would I stay in that house again. No.
