Area
Salcombe, which was previously a significant harbour, is a well-loved holiday resort for families and walkers. North Sands and South Sands, two lovely beaches, are close by. Further away is the National Trust property Overbeck's, where you may stroll through the subtropical gardens. Why not spend an exciting day and try out some of the watersports the estuary has to offer, including kayaking, surfing, or a more leisurely boat trip? Take advantage of the locally sourced seafood that is provided in many of the restaurants, bars, cafés, and delicatessens when visiting Salcombe. With a handful of sandy beaches, charming towns with thatched cottages, and wonderful walking options, including the South West Coast route, Devon's southernmost point offers some breathtaking scenery and picturesque vistas.
