Set on the northern coast of the River Dyfi, the picturesque harbour resort of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey) has miles of sandy beaches and a championship golf course, and is a great spot for a range of water sports including sailboarding, rowing, canoeing, and sailing. The village hosts yachting regattas in the summer and is popular with surfers and anglers. The cottage lies in the Penhelig area, ideally situated close to a popular village pub, with the Old Roman Road and a Cambrian Coast railway halt nearby. Stepping into this bright and inviting holiday home, the ground floor features a spacious and welcoming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With beautiful slate flooring, TV, DVD, plenty of seating and a coal effect gas fire, the cosy lounge is an ideal space for everyone to unwind in at the end of a wonderful day. The dining area is just by the French doors, and the kitchen has a wide range of useful equipment including a dishwasher, fridge with small ice compartment, electric oven with gas hob, microwave and a washing machine. Heading up to the first floor, there s a pretty south facing twin bedroom with views out to sea. The tumble dryer and ironing board can be found in the landing cupboard. Steep angled cottage style stairs without handrails lead up to the second floor. Here you will find a fresh and relaxing double bedroom with fabulous sea views from the porthole style window. This floor also features a stylish bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. From the lounge, a sunny front terrace features garden furniture and makes a lovely spot for al fresco dining. External steps lead up to a decked area with built in bench seating and stunning views over the estuary and out across Cardigan Bay. A free car pass is provided for the local pay and display car parks one is just 150 metres from the cottage, and the other is by the beach in the centre of the village.
