Holiday Rental Description

The property enjoys an idyllic location between Llyn Brenig and Alwen Reservoir. The town of Betws y Coed, known as the gateway to Snowdonia National Park, is just 25 minutes by car, and boasts a range of restaurants, cafes, shops and crafts. Historic Llangollen is 24 miles with its castle ruins and railway, or head to either the North or West coastlines within an hours drive. Walk or cycle along the canal, climb Snowdonia s mountains, go fishing or canoeing on the river, sail on the lake, ride on the steam trains and enjoy many sporting and cultural events nearby. There are plenty of National Trust properties including Chirk Castle, 30 miles as well as plenty of other attractions. This detached house is full of interesting features and thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay. Enter through the door into the hall to hang up your outdoor attire. Walk through to the creatively designed kitchen with plenty of space to rustle up a meal, which is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, American style fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. You will find the washing machine and tumble dryer in the games/utility room which also features table football for fun nights in. When your meal is ready, gather round the dining table and enjoy while gazing at the lovely rural views from the windows. After a full day out, relax on the comfortable sofas, watch your favourites on the smart TV with Sky and light the wood burner for cosy nights in. Maybe head upstairs to the library snug to curl up with a book, plan your activities with the local guides or listen to the radio on the snuggly daybed. On the ground floor is the wet room with shower, and another bathroom upstairs with a shower over the bath and a WC. When ready for bed, head upstairs and choose from two fabulous bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a lovely double. The property benefits from a charming enclosed garden with stunning views. Enjoy sitting at the patio with gazebo for al fresco dining. There is also a terrace and feature planting which make this the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Enjoy a picnic by the river or a sundowner on the bench in the front garden (please supervise children near river).
