A wonderful location with stunning views of the local area.. Many local walks on the doorstep, with local shops only 2 miles away in Bala. Aled and Awen the owners , are very helpful and welcoming to their working farm. Would recommend for a relaxing getaway.

We had a wonderful short break at Waedog Bach.. The cottage itself was very cosy and ideal as a base to explore the area, and a drawer full of ideas as to what to do if you get stuck! Despite being seemingly in the middle of no-where we got to the main road in no time at all. We had a great day out going around Lake Vyrnwy with a walk around an amazing waterfall and a drive around the lake, and also a visit to the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The whole property is very modern and the kitchen has everything you need, the bathroom has a nice big bath and shower and the bedroom was a decent size with lots of space with drawers and a wardrobe and more than enough soft towels provided! We only needed to consider getting some food in and we were set for out stay! We got a warm welcome from the dogs who made sure we knew which way to head when we got there (and also came to make sure we were OK when we got home after our day out!). Would thoroughly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing break away.

The cottage is beautiful.. Ideal for a nice relaxing break for my wife and I. Waking up to the sounds of the farm was extremely relaxing. Very friendly, dogs a bit mad chasing the car which made us both laugh. Would definitely book again.

Snowdonia is a wonderful area to visit.. Especially if you like to walk. To be able to enhance a visit by staying in a beautiful, cosy, well equipped cottage makes all the difference. I have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years and I think this was probably the best. Being on a farm when the fields are full of newborn lambs was delightful. The farm dogs were very amusing and made our stay extra special.

Access to the building would be difficult for visitors with mobility problems, however it wasn't an issue for us.. It was a very enjoyable holiday in a well appointed cottage.

Location is everything as we love to walk and cycle, this little end cottage on a working farm was a perfect find for us, enabling us to explore both the local surroundings, and venture further on bicycles and accomplish some of those punchy hills.. The cottage was exceptionally clean, comfortable and cosy, the kitchen is equipped with everything we required, the bed was also very comfortable for us, and has a wonderful view, that and the farm yard wake up calls were most appealing. The owners are really friendly and happy to chat and explain about farming life. We do hope Tup 86 & 11 have made a few ladies happy! Would have loved to have stayed longer.

We were delighted with Waedog .. It is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, warm and cosy and, as a bonus it’s well located to explore North Wales. The lounge kitchen area is small but actually perfect. We found ourselves eating at the table for the first time in ages! Highly recommended

Enjoyed a lovely September break here.. The cottage is beautifully decorated, comfortable and is equipped with everything you need. It is on a working farm so there is plenty to see including ewes, rams, cattle and four friendly, working border collies. The views are fantastic and the location peaceful. The cottage, near to Lake Bala, is ideal for exploring North Wales by car, or if you prefer, on foot. We would certainly recommend Waedog Bach and it's stunning surroundings. and look forward to visiting again in the future.

It was a beautiful cottage in a wonderful location.. The whole place had a lovely relaxed feeling and the family were a delight. We were struck at how clean the cottage was but must admit the kitchen area was smaller than expected. But this is only a minor criticism as the whole package more than made up for this. Being on a working farm and the friendliness of the family made the whole holiday memorable and we would not hesitate in recommending this cottage to any one who wants to have a peaceful stress free holiday in a wonderful location.

This was just the most perfect place to stay! We had an amazing time on this farm and even saw a calf being born! If you’re considering staying here, don’t even think about it - do it, it’s perfect! In a great location and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The house is beautiful and very clean! Will be going back to stay again!

A wonderful little cottage on a working farm set in idyllic secnery of mountains, lakes, forests and streams.. Welcoming friendly owners - and dogs - made us feel at home from the outset and they work so hard, morning, noon and night. A week was not enough to see everything in the area so we will definitely be back to this magical place.

Exceptional cottage, spotlessly clean and very well appointed on very friendly family run farm, some mornings it can be a little noisy depending if it’s market day and other mornings completely silent but it really wasn’t an issue.. Lovely views from the cottage, in the mornings the sun comes over the hills and shines directly on the cottage, superb. Easy to find and easy access to Bala, we had good weather and had a lovely week in Snowdonia, an absolutely stunning part of the country made better by our accommodation. Highly recommended for the cottage, the family and area, we would happily go back.

A lovely place to stay for some tranquillity and calm time.. Property was well equipped and very clean. The main living lounge / kitchen area was a little smaller than we initially thought from the photos (and not the best set up with the table in front of the sofa, so one could not see the TV), but we quickly adjusted to it and found the property very cosy. A vacuum cleaner would have been useful to help hoover and keep the place clean throughout the week - we used the dustpan and brush, but it was not as effective. Will visit property again. Thank you to the owners for making the place extra special and cosy for us - homemade mince pies were awaiting us upon arrival and a decorated Christmas Tree to make the place Christmassy for our festive stay. :)
