Really lovely property with plenty of inside space, clean and a good supply of kitchen utensils (except scissors).. Easy access and parking and exactly as described in the blurb. There are games and books for adults which is not mentioned - we needn’t have taken ours had we known. The house sIts on a main thoroughfare so there were some large timber lorries passing at times during the day, rattling the windows a little but not a major problem. No outside playing space so not really suitable for young children and stairs quite steep. It would have been nice to have had a king size bed in the master bedroom as there was plenty of space for one. Also bath sheets rather than bath towels as the ones provided were quite small. Only little things, as our stay was really enjoyable and there is plenty to do in this area.

Clean spacious accommodation.. Fully equipped including logs and lighters. Plenty of information in the property to help choose what to do.

Wade house was very spacious and whilst family friendly for older children it was more problematic with young children.. The stone hearth and wood burner were totally unguarded, not ideal with a 15 month old and a two and a half year old. Whilst the underfloor heating kept the house aired during the day, in the current weather we really needed to light the burner but couldn’t until the children were in bed in the early evening. The house is in a great location with lovely walks and a brilliant drying room/laundry available.

The size, comfort and cleanliness were as we would have in our own home..

We had a great stay at Wade House and would definitely stay again.. We felt a few things were missing - as you offer a cot you should provide cot sheets. There was also no hairdryer which is fairly basic.

Lovely cottage, ideally placed with a short walk into Aberfeldy or a short drive to surrounding areas.. The children loved Wade House.

Our party enjoyed our week are Wade House, however as a non dog owner it was a little disappointing that one of the bedrooms seemed to have been used to house a dog or dogs by previous guest.. The room and one of the single beds in it smelled very strongly and sleeping in that bed was rather like sleeping in a dog's basket.

Excellent cottage and surroundings, old mixed with modern.. Very clean accommodation, large open plan kitchen and living room yet very cosy, log fire just a dream to work and watch, beds comfortable with a toilet/shower on each floor. Would definitely come back for the peace and tranquillity.

Beautiful cottage that had everything required for a relaxing break.. Cottage was very cosy with the welcome addition of a wood burner. Kitchen very well equipped. Only slight negative, one bath towel each for a 3 night stay wasn’t ideal. Having said that, would book again without hesitation (and just bring an extra towel).

I took my girlfriend, sister and nephew and our dogs to Wade House for a Halloween break. We were not let down. I had previously been in the Bugaboo Cottage which sits just behind Wade house which I loved but I was intrigued by the big house attached to Weem Hotel. There really are no complaints about Wade House only person preferences. Such as I dislike feather duvets/pillows, this property has them so I had to purchase my own pillows and the shower's are temperamental. This property is good value for money but would recommend you have your own transport as it will allow you access to a lot more than Aberfeldy. That in mind there are some very beautiful walks in and around Weem and in summer if the River lowers enough you have a beautiful spot to picnic. The owner is a very pleasant man and very accommodating and the property is also adequately cleaned upon arrival. Would visit again and will be recommending and shows friends and family our photos from our time here.

Our family of four spent a week here in March 2017. The house is charming and the location is perfect, just 2 minutes from Aberfeldy, for exploring the local area. The wood burning stove and well equipped kitchen (with heated floor) make the lower level very pleasant. Two of the bedrooms were noticeably more presentable than the third, although this is testament to how nice the double rooms were. All in all there are 3 bathrooms, each with a shower, so no need for queuing! We did have a minor issue with the dish washer that was resolved within the day - you can't ask for more than that. Great trip - would recommend to anyone.

There was nothing we could fault about the house, none of us wanted to leave! Both my children loved the open plan living area/kitchen with fire, along with being able to share a room that had an en suite to themselves. My husband and I had the top floor bedroom with shower room, which was to an excellent standard. We had our dog and there were plenty of walks right on the doorstep, so even the dog had a great time! The drying room as you came in the house was an invaluable feature for us all.

We stayed here as a couple with our two dogs. The place was very spacious and would easily accommodate a family. Has all equipment/ amenities needed which made it feel like home from home. My only criticism was the lack of heating. The wood burner was unable to heat such a large property and we resorted to using the oven as a heat source. The hotel attached was in fact open with very friendly staff and was welcoming of our dogs, as was the nearby local pub which is a five minute walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

I have just returned from a holiday at Wade House, my partner and I and my two dogs had a wonderful time. We couldn't fault the cottage and although the weather was a little wet - the log fire was lovely to come home to after a walk or a day out. There was also a very handy drying room. Although the cottage didn't have a garden there were plenty of walks we were able to go on from the doorstep - Weem Woods and Birks of Aberfeldy. It was great and the space was great for what we needed. We would also highly recommend the Ailean Chraggan Hotel for a meal and they accommodate dogs in the bar area. We went on the Friday night and returned for Sunday lunch before we travelled home. The tour around Dewar's distillery was also a highlight and you aren't too far from St Andrew's. All in all we had a great stay and the cottage was excellent.

Excellent accommodation loads of space, a good temperature and excellent drying room. You can walk to pub/restaurant (which is amazing) and Aberfeldy. Very convenient for the mountains or easier local walks.

Wade House was ideal for our grown up family of 6 with enough space bathrooms to keep everybody happy. Aberfeldy was a gentle 20 minute walk from the house. The kids had a ball and we are keen to make this trip an annual event!

The property is nicely decorated and furnished to a high standard. It is warm and comfortable with plenty of hot water. The bathrooms were nice and the electric shower was good. There are walks directly from the cottage and a very good restaurant within walking distance. Aberfeldy is only a few minutes way and has lots of nice shops and by the time this is published will have a shiny new Co Op.

The open plan kitchen/dining/living area was very cosy and we felt right at home in this space as soon as we arrived. The underfloor heating was great too. I found the owner very helpful on the phone and he did not hesitate to recommend things to do, especially if we arrived earlier than intended, as well as ensuring we knew about the laundry facilities. We liked the distance from Aberfeldy - perfect for a walk in to town.

Property was very spacious and comfortable. The wood burning stove was perfect for warming the house quickly in the evening.
