Violet Cottage is a semi-detached cottage, situated next to the owner's home in the large village of Feltwell on the Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire borders. This cottage sleeps four people and has two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin as well as a first floor shower room and a ground floor bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen, dining room, sitting room with electric fire and a conservatory. Outside, this cottage has off road parking for two cars, a private patio area and a lawned garden. Violet Cottage is close to many attractions and places of interest that will suit everyone in your party.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double with TV with Sky, 1 x twin. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Fitted kitchen. Dining room with TV with Sky. Sitting room with electric fire. Conservatory (seats 2).

The village of Feltwell is set on the Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire borders and offers village stores, a Post Office and pubs. There are many attractions close by that will suit all tastes making Feltwell an ideal base for exploring the area.

Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways - East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.

We have stayed at Violet Cottage twice and will be booking again. Very well equiped. Really handy to have a bathroom on each floor. Central location for what we wanted to do.Lots of plane spotting in the area. Local food shops very welcoming and handy for the odds and ends. Larger food shops can be found in Brandon, a short drive away.

This is a fantastic cottage. Very clean. Having a downstairs bathroom and an upstairs shower room is very useful. Feltwell is well and truly in the sticks, but we found that it was an ideal base to visit attractions in Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire. Nothing was too far away. We highly recommend the Chinese take away which is virtually opposite the cottage. The Wellington Arms is a great place, too. Nothing was too much trouble. Very tasty food at a reasonable price. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are going to book another week at Violet Cottage next year. Highly recommended.

In your advert you said there were three public houses in the village.. Unfortunately two have now closed down and consequently there is only the one left called The Wellington.

The cottage itself was fine but we didn't feel very welcome, generally.. The cottage was clean and more spacious than expected, however, there are serious problems with the internet and sky TV. The garden is actually a large garden which belongs to the owners who live next door and it really feels like their space. We could've overlooked this if the hosts had been a bit friendlier. We stayed for 4 weeks and didn't see them at all after moving in until the day we were moving out and then all the owner said was 'what time are you leaving? You can leave the keys in there'. There was no 'how was your stay' or thanks for staying. We were quite shocked and felt like they wanted our money but didn't really want us there. Very disappointing.

A beautiful cottage, ideally placed to visit Norwich, Ely, Thetford forest.. We had to leave early because the weather forecasts were on Amber warnings, so did not get to Kings Lynn and Suffolk. A good excuse to return at some time. The owners live next door but we're not obtrusive. All in all a good and comfortable retreat.

Lovely quiet location. Don’t let the quite surroundings put you off as more populated areas are within easy reach by car. The cottage its self is deceptively bigger than the pictures show. Everything we need was available. I won’t hesitate in recommending Violet cottage, and certainly would stay there again.
