Yellowland Farm is a comfortable, spacious farmhouse on a 75 acre farm near the Devon town of Holsworthy. The house sleeps 11 people in four bedrooms, two family rooms with en suite shower rooms, a double and twin, plus a family bathroom. On the ground floor is a hall, a sitting room with wood burning stove, a kitchen and a dining room. Outside is an enclosed garden, an indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi in a barn, a games barn, adventure playground and the farm to wander. Just 2½ miles from the town, Yellowland Farm is a friendly destination for a super holiday in Devon.

The ancient market town of Holsworthy lies nestled amid the rolling green hills of Tarka Country. There are many different landscapes within the region, from rugged cliffs and sandy beaches to rolling farmland and lush valleys.

We have just had a truly wonderful week at Yellowlands Farm.. We would not change anything about our holiday except maybe the weather. Even that didn't matter as the swimming pool, games room and comfortable cottage kept all three generations of our family happy. By the end of the week the youngest family member could swim and we all went home reluctantly but relaxed. Good places to visit locally. Recommend the otter sanctuary, Bude and Launceston steam railway.

Very nice in every way, had a great time and the owners were lovely.. On arrival there were some flowers which lasted the whole of our time there and we were greeted with some home made cookies which were fantastic. A lovely place, very friendly and lots to do.

Family holiday at yellow land farm,what a holiday children loved the swimming pool games and play room such a lovely setting in beautiful countryside.. The cottage was all we dreamed for ,beautiful kitchen everything u needed.Host Paul and Hillary where such lovely people. Plus we had beautiful weather. Definitely be going back for another fab holiday.

Truly was amazing great memories for my niece 16 and my mums 60th loved it.. the dog toffee is beautiful very friendly family cottage amazing view lovely and quite a lot to do didn’t really need to venture out lovely time. Would definitely enjoy again.

This holiday cottage was perfect for our family get together, the cosy cottage provided ample space for relaxation, the heated indoor pool and jacuzzi provided all the entertainment needed for a cold winters week.. The country farm settling was beautiful and our little people loved seeing the animals and collecting freshly laid eggs from the chickens, Toffee the dog is adorable!

The owners were extremely accommodating of our needs.. They were very relaxed and seemed keen for chidren to experience the 'farm feel' e.g. collecting eggs. The holiday provided the wide age range : 5 months - over 60's with complete entertainment, especially on a wet day! Very successful. The younder adults found the double beds a little too narrow. The range cooker ovens proved difficult to get up to adequate temp. There seemd to be an idiosyncrasy according to which oven was used first.

Another fabulous holiday at Yellowlands! This was our 5th stay here. It has everything you want, it’s a home from home, excellent pool and jacuzzi and the location is perfect. This holiday offers something for everyone, wether you want a relaxing break or the comforts of home after a busy day out. Collecting the eggs, feeding the sheep, playing with toffee the dog or even a game of pool in the games room there is so much on offer. Mr and Mrs Cheers are friendly and welcoming and can’t do enough for you. We can’t recommend this holiday enough.

Paul and Hillary had the right balance of being helpful and leaving you to your holiday.. Having the children collect eggs and feed the chicken's, feed the sheep out of there hands was an added touch that they will remember. also when the children wanted to stay more than go to a theme park it is a good indication of how much they enjoyed it there.

Had an absolutely amazing week at Yellowland Farm, wanted for nothing.. Hilary and Paul were very welcoming and friendly. Grandkids and adults alike enjoyed feeding the sheep and chickens, the fresh eggs were delicious. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and chilled holiday. Would go back again with no hesitation. The cottage was beautiful.
