Inside, the home is a mix of traditional and modern, with a warm, home from home feel that makes it easy to settle in straight away. Cool tiled floors, exposed brick walls and grand fireplaces define the sociable living space, while the bedrooms are all comfortably furnished. Across three floors, a few surprises include a study, a loft sitting room and a basement living area with access out to a terrace. In the evenings, fire up the barbecue and pour a few glasses of local red. If you can tear yourself away, a five-minute drive will take you to a spa centre where you can enjoy relaxing treatments and fine dining, while both Monza and Milan are within a forty-five minute drive.
