Right in front of the Baptistry and the Duomo, Poet Lyric has preserved some of the original architectural structure, and uses it to maintain a rustic atmosphere. It’s got high ceilings (at least downstairs) and those combined with the open layout help create a decent sense of space. The kitchen feels like it could have been thought through a bit more – there’s no oven, and the hob is in a slightly awkward position beside the fridge – but given how central the flat is, you’re not exactly short of eating options nearby.
