Nestled away in an isolated spot within Mallorca's countryside, this villa is blessed with the sort of sweeping mountain views that simply never get old. It makes for quite the bucolic backdrop as you go about making the most of the huge outdoor space, whether that's gliding through the saltwater swimming pool, soaking up some rays on a lounger, or dining on the covered terrace.
Although you'll probably want to spend as much time outdoors as possible, there's plenty worthy of your attention behind the villa's honey-coloured stone walls. The design is a mix of typically Balaeric architectural features, antique furnishings and contemporary flourishes – a combination that could be busy and overdone in some circumstances, but one that has been executed particularly well here.
There's an innate sense of peace and quiet to the address, but you're not far from attractions. The local town of Artà has enough restaurants and museums to be worth a visit, while there's a great selection of beaches on the island's northwestern coastline that are only a few kilometres away
Home truths: *The home is spread over two floors, but there's a bedroom and ensuite on the ground level
*Your host can provide a cot and high chair for free upon request
*The pool is saltwater
