If you want to keep on top of your fitness game, the views from floor-to-ceiling windows in the gym might tempt you to stay for an extra squat or two and the picture-frame window in the boho-chic living room means you don’t have to take your eye off the sea even indoors. Bedrooms are minimalist and rustic, with wood beams running along the stone ceilings. The real surprise here is the dedicated private spa with its marble hammam area for a day’s indulgence.

Days out can be spent on the soft sand of Paralia Ftelias beach, a six-minute drive or twenty-minute walk away. Or, head into the charming inland village of Ano Mera, a twenty-minute walk, where restored monasteries, shops and cafés await.
