Or why not head into Pollença's magical old town, reachable in just a few minutes by car, where you can sit and watch the world go by from one of the authentic eateries, pick up something special in the artisanal shops, or simply lose yourself for a while as you wander through the beguiling streets. Oh, and if you're here on a Sunday, definitely take the time to peruse the weekly farmer's market, where you'll find a whole host of wonderfully fresh regional produce that you can always take back to the home and grill up in the well-equipped outdoor kitchen.

The bay of Puerto Pollença offers you the chance to take part in a range of watersports (if you're up for it), including windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, waterskiing, and jet skiing. While in Cala Sant Vicenç (or just Cala as it is known to locals), there is a mini market, several small restaurants offering a variety of great dining options as well as a handful of lively bars – not to mention the otherworldly crystalline waters and hidden coves with beautiful verdant backdrops for which it's famous.
