6 Arlington Villas is a luxurious, second floor apartment in the coastal town of Ilfracombe just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, shops and restaurants of the town. The apartment can sleep four people in two bedrooms; a king-size with en-suite shower room and a versatile zip/link twin that can be a super king-size double on request. There is a family bathroom, separate utility and a magnificent and elegantly furnished open plan living area that encompasses a sleek high quality kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Patio doors lead out to a seaward facing balcony with views of Capstone Hill and Wildersmouth beach and captures the most mesmerizing sunsets over the sea. There is a gated secure car park with parking for one car and lockable store for a bike or surfboards. 6 Arlington Villas, is short walk to all the town’s amenities and a wonderful choice for a relaxing seaside holiday without the need for any daily car journeys.

Ilfracombe is a bustling seaside town situated on a beautiful stretch of North Devon coastline, with five beaches, much of it owned by the National Trust. Ilfracombe is only a ten minute drive from Exmoor National Park, with its rolling countryside and quaint villages. Ilfracombe's heritage harbour and quay are spectacular, with many pubs, restaurants (including three listed in the Michelin Guide 2017) and shops that create a lively, friendly atmosphere.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Exceptional apartment, great attention to detail, high standard furnishing & very thoughtful welcome pack. 2 really good sized bedrooms & bathrooms. It was lovely sitting watching the sun go down from the balcony as the view is excellent.

Extremely impressed with the attention to detail. Great views, luxuriously furnished, gated parking, Michelin starred restaurant 2 minutes walk away. Lovely balcony to watch the sunsets from and close to everything.

We spent a week here over the Easter Holidays with our 2 boys. The apartment was stunning and was furnished to an exceptional standard and was spotlessly clean. It was in a brilliant location, within walking distance to everything that Ilfracombe has to over and only a short drive to all the local sights in the area. Having visited this area a few years previously we had already seen some of the main sights. This time we visited Croyde, Exmoor, Combe Martin, Westward Ho!, we walked along the nearby walks, had lots of ice creams enjoyed the fantastic views from the apartments on our lazy mornings! Great contact with the owner and a small hiccup was easily resolved over the phone with her rather than the letting agent which made things easier. We would definitely recommend this property for a break with children in North Devon. It has everything and more that you need for a family holiday.

We have stayed at 6 Arlington Villa twice in the last 6 months and cannot recommend it enough.. The pictures online look amazing but in reality, it really does surpass expectations. The location is ideal and it has everything you need for a luxury break. There is no expense spared by the owner and they have thought of absolutely everything, in order for you to have an enjoyable stay. The welcome pack which includes tea bags, biscuits, Nespresso pods and a bottle of wine is such a nice touch too. You have a lovely view of Capstone Hill and Ilfracombe seafront; you really couldn’t ask for a better view or location. It really is perfect and we will be back again.

Every year in either Devon or Cornwall, and I must say that this Appartment is by far the highest standard we've stayed at, there is no expense spared, in decor, bedding, kitchen etc, in fact it felt like brand new and that nobody had ever stayed here before, as the decor was superb and immaculate and just perfect. We are also impressed by the owner who choose to contact us several times to make sure we are happy, and also to offer advice, once again it's normally the agency or housekeeper that is the main contact, but saying that Michael from Sykes Cottages spoke so high of the property and the owner, which was a good sign. The beach can be seen from the balcony, but it's dealt quite and not noisy at all. The main restaurants and shops, bars etc are a few mind walk from the apartment and there is a Tesco supermarket a five min drive. We can't rave about this Appartment enough, in our eyes it's just Amazing xx

This apartment was pure Luxury, Sandy the owner has thought of everything to make your stay perfect, the accommodation is well looked after and maintained, super view out to sea and although small, excellent balcony for the obligatory glass of wine or morning coffee! Great location on Ilfracombe sea front to watch the world go by or so convenient for all that Ilfracombe has to offer. The beds and bedding are top quality as are the fixtures and fittings, can't fault, would definitely recommend and would hope to stay again in the future.

This is a fabulous, luxurious apartment which lived up to expectations.. We stayed for 3 weeks and although towels and be linen were changed weekly, it was disappointing to see that the housekeeper(s) failed to offer any cleaning services throughout our stay.

This apartment was amazing - the views of the sunsets were stunning.. Immaculate apartment with every bit of equipment you could think of . The parking really helped as we had just had a week in Cornwall with extremely difficult parking Would definitely stay here again !

Fabulous luxury apartment with amazing sea views.. Spotlessly clean on arrival with a lovely welcome pack including a bottle of Marlborough Sauvignon - very nice touch. Lovely modern decor and furnishings. Games for the children, games console (which we hardly used as there was so much to do on the beaches), books and DVDs. Wet suit and body boards supplied. Very well equipped kitchen even down to scales, measuring jugs etc. Extremely comfortable lounge furniture and very comfortable beds, excellent location only a couple of minutes' walk to the beach and about 5 minutes walk to the harbour. Lots of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms within walking distance and even a Michelin-starred restaurant a few minutes' walk away. Designated parking space which is essential in Ilfracombe, medium walk/short drive to lots of other lovely beaches. We would happily come back here, probably the nicest accommodation we've ever stayed in on holiday.

A very well appointed property within easy reach of the harbour and many other attractions.. The flat is very new and the public areas are kept very clean and tidy. The Parking is marked out with the flat number the space relates to so there is no prob;em with losing a space. The flat and the amenities supplied by the Owners are much more than we have experienced at any other properties and were very much appreciated. Due to the weather conditions at the time of our visit the owner telephoned us to make alternative arrangements for the booking due to snow and apologised because it had not been possible to arrange an arrival pack. Not a problem for us. We would thoroughly recommend this flat.

We spent a week here, and it is in a prime location for the both the seafront and town centre. You can walk down to the harbour or along the costal footpath. We enjoyed going out and exploring North Devon, with us visiting Saunton Sands and Lynmouth. The allocated parking space made it easy, knowing we could park outside the apartment whenever we returned. We would definitely return to this great flat.

Very minor issue was that I am only 5'2" tall and one or two items in the kitchen were out of my reach, tumblers and wine glasses in particular.. This in no way lessened our enjoyment of staying in this amazing apartment as my husband came to my rescue.

The apartment itself was beyond amazing, the pictures looked amazing but the reality of it surpassed expectations.. The communication with the owners was second to none, they were polite, lovely and very helpful. You couldn’t ask for better views and a better location, lots of local shops, bars and restaurants and a short drive to a supermarket was all you could ask for. We’re literally counting down the time until we can return!!
