Overlooking the now covered River Paillon, and across to the Old Town, Le Grand Hotel is situated on the gateway between the ancient fishing community and the modern city, which became a popular resort in the 19^th century. This is a great place from which to discover or explore Nice, from antiquity to the present day, everything is close at hand. All year round Nice's lush, green, central garden and square have something worth looking at. From the summer concerts, to the Christmas lights, not forgetting the much celebrated Nice Carnival whose floats and fun will be passing just below this year giving you a bird's eye view of the festivities!

The low ceilinged, mezzanine bedroom is newly constructed with stylish and secure railings and a comfortable king size mattress. If the ladder up to this cosy nest does not suit you, there is also a very comfortable, king size sofa bed downstairs.

The living area has sliding, double-glazed French windows, which open onto the balcony. There is a sofa and wall-mounted TV for unwinding and wifi for convenience.

The kitchen area fits neatly under the mezzanine and has an oven/grill/microwave, a dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine with laundry equipment, and plenty of cupboard space. The dining table sits conveniently against the wall or folds out to accommodate more people should you wish to entertain.

Outside space

The south facing 15m2 balcony has sunshine from morning through to the afternoon so you can make the most of the Riviera's famed climate. There is a tall table and stools for enjoying the view over breakfast, lunch, evening aperitif or an alfresco dinner; whatever takes your fancy!

Parking

There are several car parks within easy walking distance of the apartment. The closest is Parking Indigo Masséna just along the street towards Place Masséna.

Public Transport

Your nearest tram stop is just across the park; Opéra Vieille-Ville, and this will take you to the main railway station in less than 10 minutes or towards the port and the east of the city.
