The enclosed master bedroom is on the mezzanine floor and is reached by a staircase from the open plan living room. A door leads into the suite and there are windws with curtains allowing privacy and comfort. There is a high quality kingsize wrought iron bed and mattress, air conditioning plus a large walk-in wardrobe/changing area. This bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom.
The twin room is spacious and again has high quality wrought iron single beds and mattresses, a large French replica wardrobe and original fireplace. As you can see from the photos this bedroom boasts the magnificent original fresco and views of the Cathedral St Reperate glittering dome.
(If you wish to use the extra sleeping space provided, then the sofabed in the living room sleeps two. Please note, there is an additional cost for sofabed linen and towels which can be purchased when you book this property)
There are two bathrooms. On the mezzanine level is the ensuite to the master bedroom and has a full size bath and shower overhead, sink, toilet and bidet. The second bathroom is on the lower floor and has a shower cubicle, vanity unit, toilet and bidet.
The open plan living area is light and spacious and comfortable provençal style sofa and two cosy armchairs. Relax watching the 18" LCD TV (English News & French channels) and DVD player or enjoy some of the music provided on the CD player/radio. The modern wood and brushed steel Habitat kitchen has a large four ring gas hob and electric oven, plus a full size standing fridge-freezer. The kitchen is also equipped with a kettle, toaster, and cafetière. There is a utility room housing the dishwasher and washing machine.
The glass and wrought iron dining table seating four is positioned so you can look out over the glittering dome of Sainte Réparate Cathedral (hence the apartment's name) from the magnificent tall French windows.

Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go underground carpark at the Place du Palais, the entrance is on Rue Alexandre Mari. Set in the heart of the Nice's picturesque Old Town, Rue Sainte Réparate is a bustling street packed with pasta vendors, bistros, boutique shops and wine bars. You're right next to the best wine cave in the Old Town and the Cours Saleya marketplace selling fresh local produce, flowers and antiques is a couple of minutes stroll away. The promenade and beach is only a touch further. Around the corner the breathtaking Place du Palais is a wonderful square with an ornate fountain set outside the Palais de Justice and is surrounded by Niçoise restaurants and a weekly market selling books and art
The 98 airport bus runs from the Airport through the centre of Nice and terminates in the Port. Bus stop 'Cathédrale - Vieille Ville' is your nearest bus stop. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a good 20 minute walk. You can use the tram. Tram stop 'Opéra' is your closest stop. This is at the bottom of Rue de la Préfecture on Avenue Jean Jaurès.
