Las Cornisas is just a beautiful example of an Eixample home. Much of it recalls the aesthetic from the turn of the twentieth century, yet there are the recent renovations included some touches that add modernity where it is needed (the kitchen and the bathrooms, primarily). The balcony looks out onto Passeig de Grácia (the flat is about fifty metres from Casa Batllo) – the best street for high-end shopping in the city – just another way that staying here is an experience you won’t forget quickly.
Home truths: *Three of the five bedrooms have no view to speak of, and don't get much natural light
*The flat is on one of the main thoroughfares in Barcelona – expect people and noise
*There's a short flight of stairs before you reach the front door
