Tee off at the scenic Aloha Golf Club, only minutes away, or try out Real Club de Golf Las Brisas or Los Naranjos Golf Club whilst the rest of the family starts a lazy day back home.

And lazy it will be, especially with cushy sofas and armchairs waiting to welcome you in. Pad into the kitchen after a late-morning lie-in and grab a freshly-brewed coffee to enjoy under a throw once you’ve made yourself comfortable. With the doors open, you’ll also be able to admire the view from the sofa, but why not sit outside so you can better glimpse the rolling green horizon?

There are plenty of other seating areas – some perfect for dining, some perfect for socialising with drinks and nibbles, and even some that are ideal for sitting quietly with a book, but they all offer access to fresh air, Spanish sunshine, and a beautiful view in a tranquil space.

Head to the coast in minutes and spend the day at the beach. Later on, stop off at a waterfront restaurant if you’re not in the mood to cook something in the generous, sleek kitchen back home. With all the exploring and relaxing to be done, your schedule might seem busy enough as it is, but make time for a quick dip in the communal pool whenever the heat gets a little intense.
