The house is ideally located within walking distance of restaurants, Traditional pubs and shops.
It has a magnificent Sandy Blue Flag Beach and there are a wide variety of out door pursuits to keep all the family occupied. These include - Walking, Sailing, Swimming, Fishing and Golf.



This area of Wexford is known as the sunny South-East and famed for its safe bathing waters and sandy beaches.
Fishing and sailing are popular sports in the area and of course we can't forget the golf enthusiasts, with courses such as New Ross, Enniscorthy and Rosslare within a short drive - Duncannon is certainly the spot for the ultimate holiday experience.



You can also use the local Ferry to cross over to Waterford, Dunmore East, and the magnificent Faithlegg Golf Course.



Duncannon is most famous for its annual Sand Sculpting Festival - usually held in August.
The Duncannon Sandsculpting Festival is a family orientated Event. An action packed festival with fun events on beautiful Duncannon beach, fantastic fireworks, beach party, magic and puppet shows, beach games, street theatre and awesome sand sculptures.



The thriving town of New Ross is just a 12 mile drive away with its many shops, bars and restaurants.
New Ross is home to the Dunbrody replica famine ship which is moored on the Quay, and allows visitors to experience the sights and smells of life aboard an emigrant ship.



The JFK Dunbrody Festival is held each year in July in the town and centres primarily on live music on the festival stage.



In the picturesque village of Duncannon, 21 km (13 mi) to the south of New Ross the historic Duncannon Fort is located alongside the lovely Blue Flag beach.



The Browne-Clayton Monument is located on the New Ross - Wexford Road (N25) approximately 12 km (7.5 mi) east of New Ross.



The Hook Lighthouse is located 39 km (24 mi) south of New Ross and is thought to be one of the oldest operational lighthouses in the world.



The Kennedy family Homestead, the ancestral home of US President John F Kennedy is located 8 km (5.0 mi) south of New Ross, and the JFK Arboretum which is dedicated to the memory of the late president is also located to the south of the town.
