Warmth emanates from the furniture of Ephemeris, not so much due to luxury as to personality. There are little trinkets around the place, some coming from the family, others from markets. Most of this stuff is unique, and it’s been put together in a very careful, considered manner. The only real issue with Ephemeris is its lack of air conditioning. It’s designed to stay cool, and the structure of the building makes it very difficult to install, but it’s worth knowing about beforehand.
