Bedrooms follow the same theme; above most of the beds is an intricately carved wooden headboard, oak beams run across ceilings, and wardrobe doors have been swapped for antique alternatives. Our favourite room? The turret-like master bedroom with its secret bathtub on a private terrace. The nearest beach is a two minutes' drive away, but the home's expansive gardens, swimming pool, and double day loungers may prove more tempting. Still up for some action? The tennis courts have got glimpses of the ocean. Once you're done perfecting your serve, head back to the barbecue for an alfresco feast, best eaten underneath the covered terrace.
