Later on, cook a feast of French delicacies in the sleek kitchen, or retire to the cosy TV room and watch your favourite movie. Surrounded by rolling meadows, the ski resort of Morzine is a lively destination with a vibrant après scene. Here you can do all the usual winter activities such as snowmobiling, tobogganing and skiing, as well as ice-diving at nearby Lac de Montriond. This Alpine town is a year-round option, though, with many shops, bars and walking trails nearby.
