Brilliant house absolutely spotless and very spacious.. Big back garden. Couldn't have wished for a better place. The house was recommended by a friend who was there last year and it definitely exactly as she said it would be. Lovely little village will definitely come back. Ray was so nice and a pleasure to deal with.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable.. The location is beautiful and we loved the views over the estuary from the kitchen and patio. The owners were friendly and met us on arrival to explain how things worked and to give us advice about where to go in the area. The beach was further away than we expected - my husband jogged there and it took him 20 minutes. But it was very easy to drive to Kilkee beach which was gorgeous. Although the village of Cross itself is small, it is easy to get from there to all parts of the Loop Head peninsula and we really enjoyed being a bit off the main tourist track. It is such a beautiful part of the country - we will definitely be back and my children have already asked to visit the same cottage again as they made friends with the neighbour's children and dog. They also loved picking and eating vegetables from the plot in the garden. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday.

The house was really spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. We particularly liked the fact there were three bath/shower rooms and two very comfortable seating areas. The views are wonderful. It was very quiet. On the couple of days when the weather was good enough we really appreciated the new patio. It really felt like a home from home.

The property was a home away from home, with everything we could need and more! The view from the dining/kitchen area was absolutely stunning! All in all we had a great time in a beautiful place and would recommend this property to anyone. Myself and my husband found it a great base.

The eat in kitchen is a wonderful spot to soak up the gorgeous scenery. The location in Cross was very central to the sites and the small towns. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Lovely location especially as we were looking for a quiet hide-away. Plenty to do locally - beautiful beach at Kilkee, rugged and wild coast land friendly people. Plus trips further afield if we wanted them within reasonably easy reach. Cottage was great for our needs - easily sleeping six adults with lovely views over the Shannon Estuary.

This house is a great size in a fantastic location for those wanting walks straight from the house, it also has amazing coastal roads We were greeted on arrival by the owners , it was late & they had made a fire so the house felt like a home They also had a very good knowledge of the local area which was very helpful

The owners of this cottage from the start made us feel very welcomed. We arrived quite late, but they were there to welcome us, with a beautiful fire, and explained how everything worked. They also had a very good knowledge of the area which was so useful. There are some fantastic walks from the house which can take you to the coast.
