Villa Matisse San Lorenzo al Mare, Liguria

A very nice property where the dogs can move around freely. The place is well located and allows trips to interesting places in the area.

We spent 10 days in Villa Matisse with our 2 very large dogs and were delighted with the accommodation and the friendliness and helpfulness of the landlords. Our dogs felt very comfortable in the dog-safe fenced garden from the start. Even occasional barking didn't bother anyone. The willingness to help of the landlords went so far as to free us, who had gotten into a hopeless situation with the car, from this. Highly recommended!

We particularly liked: - Nice hosts who dealt with requests and complaints (if any) immediately - Large fenced property - Two large bedrooms with TV (German TV available), air conditioning, 2 bathrooms - Couches, table tennis, football, Barbecue, dog pool ... everything in top condition - beautiful pool with outdoor shower - large space for the car in the fenced area - quiet location - paths directly from the house to be able to walk the dogs

Very nice house, well equiped, two showers and a washing maschine. The outdoor space is well designed and we spend most of the time outside, next to the pool. The location is beautiful and the owner very friendly. It ist only a short trip by car (5min.) to the lowly town of San Lorenzo al mare. We have small kids (one and three years old) and the place was perfect for us. Don't forged to buy a bottle of the owners excellent olive oil.

We have been received extremely friendly. We were surprised at the size of the complex and the location of the house is ideal. Fast to the sea and beautiful paths for walks from the house. All this makes up for the constant "noise level" of the highway towards the sea. We will come back. Even our little Havanese (dog) felt like a dog!

Beautiful holiday home with some flaws. Washing machine has a defect, kitchen cabinet dishwasher has damage. Bathroom equipment can be checked and repaired. Bed linen/towels may be renewed. Large dog play area available. Large terrace, quiet area and yet relatively close to the center. Beautiful pergola/seating area. There is no sitting area in the house. Is certainly a quiet and good base to visit the region. Onsite customer service is flexible and also speaks English.

Convenient location for excursions. You can quickly get to the center of San Lorenzo al mare. From the free car park there, 6-7 restaurants can be reached on foot in five minutes, as can a few shops and the weekly market.

Great accommodation and great environment for those traveling with dogs. We made a video ... Nice landlords are very helpful and you can buy very good olive oil and homemade wine from them. We will be back definitely.

We have stayed in this holiday home twice. 2 adults, 1 child and two German Shepherds. The landlords are absolutely nice and helpful. Pure relaxation for us and our dogs.

Huge beautiful grounds with wonderful olive trees, the huge garden is fenced, which is ideal for a relaxing holiday with your dog. Beautiful covered outdoor area with table and chairs and seating area. The new pool is beautifully designed, there is also an outdoor shower. The newly built grill is great! The interior of the house is practical. Each room has its own bathroom with direct access. Also ideal if two couples want to go on vacation. The furniture in the bedrooms is a bit old, but clean and practical. The landlord is extremely helpful and very nice.

Accommodation was very clean. Ideal with a dog, since everything was completely fenced in. The landlords are super nice and are right there if something is wrong. The crockery could be a bit more lavish, for example there were just 5 coffee cups and 3 teaspoons! This is very tight if you are with 5 people. Travel! Otherwise a super nice holiday!

As soon as we arrived we felt very comfortable. The welcome by the landlords, a young pair of brothers, was very warm. After the new pool was set up, we were the first tenants who were/were allowed to use it. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit mixed, so that the pool could not be used as we had imagined, but nobody can do anything about that. We had three dogs with us, who could safely run on the beautiful, large and completely fenced property. The facility in the house is functional, everything you need for a holiday was available. It is also nice that there are two bathrooms. The covered terrace is excellent and can be used as an extra room when it rains. It didn't bother us that you could see part of the Autobahn and also hear something. Our conclusion after unfortunately only a week's vacation was: we liked it here, we would like to go here again.
