Do not miss to visit the charming Arcidosso (3 km) and Santa Fiora (10 km). In less than half an hour you can reach the summit of Amiata (15 km), a pleasant destination both in winter for ski resorts, but also in summer for its enchanting forests of beech and chestnut trees. Worth visiting are also Montalcino (31 km) famous for the red wine production, Saturnia (36 km) with its sulphurous water spas.
