Holiday home
Tyn Llwyn a superb character farmhouse situated on the owners' working livestock farm, one mile from the village of Glyndyfrdwy and close to the town of Llangollen. This cottage sleeps six people and has two doubles (one with an en-suite shower) and a twin, together with a bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen, sitting room with woodburning stove and a conservatory with dining area and comfy seating. Outside there's off road parking for three cars and an enclosed front and side garden with patio, hot tub and furniture. Tyn Llwyn is an excellent base for all members of your party.

Three bedrooms: 2 x double (one with with en-suite shower, basin and WC), 1 x single day bed with pull-out bed. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Utility. Sitting room with woodburning stove. Conservatory with dining area and comfy seating.

Area
The small village of Glyndyfrdwy is situated close to the small tributary of the River Dee, just under 4.5 miles from Llangollen. The village is renowned as the home of Owain Glyndwr where, in 1400, he proclaimed himself Prince of Wales and so began his 14-year rebellion against the English. Today you can still see Owain's Mount - the eroded remains of a 12th century castle motte. Glyndyfrdwy also has a shop and two village pubs.

I stayed here for a week with my partner, parents and two sisters and it exceeded our expectations.. We had a fantastic week, the hot tub was a great addition and the views are breathtaking. It was very close to Llangollen which was a beautiful town and we also visited Snowdon, Colwyn Bay and Ironbridge which were around an hours drive from the property. We used a cab on the last night so everyone could have a drink, we would recommenced the Grouse Inn for food and drink, we had a lovely meal there on our final night and it had great views. Beth was a brilliant host and helpful with any questions we had and we will 100% be visiting this property in the future.

Fantastic, everything provided for this stay more than we have ever had anywhere else.. Very friendly, contact and a much welcomed welcome pack, to get us started. It was perfect for us because it was quiet and secluded. Set in its on field surrounded by cows and sheep. We were in the country! Fabulous views that changed by the day and hour. Loved to see the mist in the valleys, the sunrise and when the sun set the vistas changed again. Better than T.V. True panoramic views, wonderful. My wife is a home bod, doesn't want to be away from her home for long, but she didn't want to leave the cottage it was so perfect and comfortable and so quiet. Even at this time of the year (October). She and I would both love to return preferably sooner, than later. Would book again. Excellent place to stay.

We were very impressed with Tyn Llwyn.. Great location, amazing views - magical mist in the valley below us, comfortable and clean accommodation. Great services, including an excellent hot tub. We had an amazing week at Tyn Llwyn very relaxing and in wonderful surroundings.. Bethan was very accommodating with our 4 dogs and very welcoming. The only thing missing was some outside sofas to relax on, when enjoying the lovely weather we had,the hot tub was fab. Will definitely go again .

One of the prettiest, cleanest, most well equipped holiday properties I have been to.. The property was absolutely wonderful, anything you could need was right there on site. With so many well thought of extras and added touches. The hosts have really thought about how to make this a home away from home. It’s Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with a completely secure garden for the kids and dog. You feel immediately relaxed and comfortable. The location is breathtaking! The views across the valleys are stunning. I haven’t stayed anywhere with a better view. And I loved being surrounded by the fields of sheep and cows, very peaceful to watch. And the garden is a great sun trap for pretty much the whole day! There is an Aldi and home bargains store about 5 mins drive away and the surrounding villages are beautiful, especially Llangollen, the corn mill pub was perfect overlooking the river and lovely food! The hot tub was brilliant!! You just can’t beat sitting in it at any time of day starring at the scenery, especially after a long walk. The hosts were wonderful, Bethan came to clean the hot tub every day, so it was always fresh and made sure we had everything we needed. Her phone number was supplied and told us if we had any problems to call. Thank you for such a lovely holiday, we shall be booking this place again!!

This cottage is beautifully renovated to a very high standard.. It also has the most amazing views. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat, then this is the place. The hot tub must have one of the most scenic spots going. Not to far from a good road for heading out to explore, this was our perfect place.

I can’t rave about this cottage enough.. The view is amazing and the cottage itself is wonderful. There was everything you could need and the welcome pack when we arrived just topped it all off. The best holiday cottage with the most friendly owner Beth.. The views were amazing, the location was perfect and the house was spotless. The ideal holiday cottage to get away from everything but with the option to travel to the lovely nearby town of Llangollen if needed. A faultless stay. We have stayed in over thirty cottages over the years and this property is probably the best, the cottage was clean and very well equipped in a stunning setting with outstanding views.. The owner Bethan could not have been more helpful we were travelling from another cottage and enquired if it would be possible to arrive before 4pm, Bethan said she would do her best and text us which she duly did and we were met by her at the cottage 1.30pm which was a huge bonus there was no need to speak to her again until leaving as everything was perfect a wonderful stay indeed.

This cottage is exceptional and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a spectacular view especially from relaxing in the hot tub both in day light and at night .. The panoramic vista is superb and compliments the cottage . Every thing had been provided to make your stay 5* and Bethan the owner was extremely friendly and provided a lovely welcome package for our arrival . An excellent holiday in beautiful surroundings with lots to do and see in the area. An absolutely wonderful cottage with the most amazing views! The cottage itself is beautiful and situated on top of a hill surrounded by mountains- the only thing you can hear is the animals and birds! Absolute perfection if your looking for some peace and quiet, beautiful walks or relax in the hot tub looking over at the mountains or under the stars on a clear night. Plenty to do locally with some fantastic places to go for something to eat and drink. Our 7 year old son summed up this cottage perfectly "The best holiday ever".

An absolute faultless cottage; the cottage, the location, the local amenities, I can't say a negative thing about it. The only thing would be the road to the entrance of the owners property, but that it's outside the owners control. Even the minor issue we had in the cottage was addressed very quickly and correct. My biggest concern would be that it won't be available anymore when we want to stay again because it is booked full. I suggest a visit to the British Ironwork Centre while staying the area.

What can we say about this house? I hope it remains an undiscovered diamond, so that we can stay there again and it's not 100% booked constantly. The house is all you can ask for for, spacious, clean, breathtaking view, perfect location, near amenities and thing to explore. The small problem we encountered was handled swiftly and 100% correctly. We wished that all cottages owners are like this one. The only minor thing to note is the status of the road up to the exit that leads you to the road up to the cottage. This road is the local counsels responsibly and not the cottage owner. Our car did not have a problem with all the potholes, but I can understand that car that are lower to teh ground can have a problem. We will definitely will come back.

This cottage is beautiful, very well maintained by the ownwers, 4 out of 5 on overall cleanliness.. The location is perfect but your nearest shop is in Llangollen if you need essentials and don't have your own car. The Bewryn Arms which is only about 15 minutes walk was lovely, very good food and freindly staff. The sheep on your doorstep is unreal in the mornings and seeing them following the farmers quad bike for their breakfast is so amazing to see, very well looked after and great farm to be secluded in . The hot tub which we only used a few times as we were too busy was very clean. The night sky was crystal clear, you could see the stars for miles, the views are gorgeous, the forests and the moutanins that you see from your window in the morning is mind blowing, you won't ever want to leave this perfect little escape from everyday life, you truly feel blessed to be there.

Would recommend anyone to stay here! really enjoyed my week away, the hot tub in the early morning or late night is super relaxing. The owner is lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is stunning, secluded on your own mini farm land where sheep freely roam around outside of the gates. We took our dog along with us and the long walks tired him out which was great! Can't fault this place one bit. :)

We stayed here very recently 29th September to the beginning of October 2017 and it was literally beautiful inside and out! The owner went above and beyond to make us feel at home and the cottage was so clean! The cherry on the cake has to be the most stunning view from the outdoor jacuzzI. Me and my family are already booking to come back soon and we can't wait as we had the most relaxing long weekend. The cottage has gorgeous decor and you feel like royalty. You won't be disappointed!
