Ty Buddug is a single-storey barn conversion located two miles from the village of Llandegla in North Wales. The cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms which are made up of a king-size double with an en-suite, a double with an en-suite, and a twin room. There is also a shower room, a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for two cars, lockable bike storage and an enclosed lawned garden with a patio, furniture and a hot tub. Ty Buddug is a luxury cottage with lots of activities available nearby. Please Note: No electric motorbikes are accepted at this property e.g Sur-rons.

Area
The Denbighshire village of Llandegla lies on the banks of the River Alyn and is located in the heart of North Wales. It was established as a result of drovers moving their cattle from Wales to market in England, and later as a quarry workers' village. Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is bordered by the Clwydian range to the north and Llandegla Forest to the south.

The cottage was spotlessly clean (the cleanest I've stayed at and I've stayed at a lot) it had everything you could possibly want utility wise.. All the furnishings were top quality and little extras like tissues, hand wash, cleaning equipment were all included, which were very welcome because we stayed as covid-19 hit. The hosts were lovely and not intrusive but were there if you needed them. The hot tub was brilliant and looked after daily. I'm reluctant to tell everyone how good it is because I want it to be available when we want to go again ;) but credit where it's due this place was spot on and I would highly recommend.

Ty Buddug was a wonderful place to stay - warm, comfortable, spacious, well equipped and clean.. No expense has been spared in converting this to a very high spec. The woodburning stove was easy to use and very warm and cosy and logs and kindling were supplied by the owner. We didn't venture into the hot tub but then it was February!! It's easy to reach from Llangollen over the Horseshoe Pass and not too far from Chester or even Snowdonia. I would certainly love to return and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Enjoyed a fun weekend at Ty Buddug. Beautifully appointed cottage, set in stunning Welsh countryside with a large country kitchen, comfy beds, fabulous hot tub and all mod cons. Lovely helpful hosts, with Med even giving us a lift to the local pub and returning to pick us up later. Would definitely recommend.

The best holiday let we’ve been in.. The beds were superb, the quality was 5 star, plenty of space and so many kitchen utensils you would probably never need but are there just in case! The owners are very welcoming and interesting people and the resident cat Garfield is a friendly chap - a great companion to our family. Being situated on a working farm it is in rolling countryside which is so peaceful. It’s central to some lovely places to visit and is a short walk cross country to the village community shop for a lovely cuppa and cake. The icing on the cake was the hot tub, which my teenage daughters and I enjoyed for a little while every afternoon. We were blessed unbelievably with amazing weather which enabled us to go places and make use of the patio and it’s lovely furniture, but if it had poured we were equipped with games and could easily have spent hours in the lounge. The WiFi is a little intermittent but you have to expect that in the countryside - we came from similar so was used to it, but others may need to be a bit more understanding and patient! It was good to be cut off from the outside world for a moment every now and again to enjoy family time! I would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage if you can appreciate rural life at its best. Thanks to the Owen family for your hospitality and letting out your beautiful cottage.

We have stayed in many cottages over the years however "Ty Buddug" has just shot up to the top of our favourites list.. This high spec, well presented and immaculately clean cottage is a jem. Just the 2 of us stayed there but the 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms could easily accommodate 6 people with ease, the living room was spacious and inviting and the log burner, wow, it was lovely. Big tv with Netflix was a bonus and the kitchen.... Everything that you should need was there and of high quality.. Hot tub right outside the back door was well maintained and it was so relaxing to sit in anytime and take in the private views. On site parking right outside the door and the owners Jenny and Medwyn were friendlly, helpful and on hand if needed. Medwyn showed us around the farm and pointed out some nice walks. We would definitely recommend Ty Buddug, and definitely return here again. High standard of accommodation in a lovely quiet location. Thank you both for letting us share your cottage for the week.

The converted barn cottage is even better in person.. Everything was incredibly clean & spotless. All you could possibly need has been carefully considered and provided for. It has a wonderful homely feel. Very comfortable & roomy. Owners live on site & they were very welcoming. Just up the road is an area of natural outstanding beauty. We loved a sunset walk appreciating the stunning views over the Vale of Clwyd! I honestly don’t think you can go wrong by staying here. We plan to return again, as it was just so clean and comfy. We were all very sad to leave.

My partner and I along with our 4 children couldn't have asked for a more perfect cottage.. Kitchen is beautiful and with every gadget we needed. Comfortable rooms and warm showers, all modern and clean. Just over an hour to drive to Snowdonia through spectacular scenery then back at the end of the day to relax in the hot tub. Wonderful holiday, we highly recommend.

The cottage really felt like home the attention to detail was really good,plenty of cutlery and crockery so you didn’t have to keep putting the dishwasher on.. It was also really nice to have some milk in the fridge and a welcome bottle of wine. The hot tub was a real bonus we had a fabulous time and would go again

Me and my girlfriend and friends visited for her 30th and it was a great time. The Owens were great and really welcoming, the only issues we had was that there seemed to be a lot of rules, unsure if this was them being very well organised or not. Also slightly annoying that the internet went off on the second day and didn't come back the rest of the stay, otherwise was really enjoyable stay they let us check in early as it was ready and as they had no one booked in after us they were happy for us to check out any time too so was otherwise very laid back and enjoyable.

The house was exceptionally well equipped and owners had thought of everything to make the holiday as easy and comfortable as possible.. The owners were friendly and approachable without encroaching, they were the perfect hosts. Having rented many holiday properties in the past, this was by far the most accommodating; small things like having specific towels for the hot by the door, providing all the basic condements and having spare consumables made this such an enjoyable and relaxing place to stay. This property is finished to a very high standard and benefits from excellent beds and linen, blackout curtains and blinds make a real difference during the summer time.

Myself, my husband, sister and mum had a lovely week here at the beginning of June. Excellent accommodation with no expense spared in conversion! Ideal for my 90 year old mum all on one level. Everything you could possibly need for your hols, apart from the weather, which was awful for 4 from 7 days but not the owners fault!! The only very minor fault for me was next doors cars parked right outside master bedroom windows so had to keep blinds shut, but as I say very minor! Brilliant hot tub, even in the rain! Every possible kitchen utensil supplied, also dish washer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Would most definitely recommend! Hope to return in the future

Although the weather was not the best we had a really good time.. Cottage was really a home from home.Have been in at least a dozen self catering holidays but Ty Buddug has been the best.So quiet and peaceful and the hot tub was a welcome addition.Even the garden furniture and cushions were of such good quality.Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.Hope to book to take my 5 best friends.Also even though we were right out in the country the mobile reception and WiFi connections were excellent.

What a lovely holiday home.. It had everything you could need from the condiments, ample cutlery, sewing kit and extra hot tub towels to the tissues, baking equipment and surround sound everything had been thought of to make the stay home from home. The cottage was fabulous - clean, warm and better equipped than most homes.. There was easy access to the hot tub which was very well maintained. We were all made to feel very welcome by the owners. It was lambing season when we were there and we were given an open invitation to visit the new lambs, something our grandchildren really enjoyed. The location was beautiful and a car gave us easy access to the seaside and local towns. Highly recommended for a break from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

We have stayed in many rental properties over the years and Ty Buddug is probably the best! The standard of decor and facilities is exceptional - wonderful woodburning stove, fabulous showers, comfortable beds and an outstanding kitchen. We were there for three nights over Christmas and it was the perfect place for a family gathering. The owners were also delightful. All in all there is nothing but praise for this property!

The owners provided the very best welcome and were on hand to offer any help. An amazing cottage, so comfortable, clean and in immaculate order.. There is absolutely nothing missing from the kitchen with a vast choice of crockery and cooking items. Often rentals only provide six of everything. Fab private enclosed garden with views of the countryside and occasional calves wandering past. We enjoyed the log burner and hot tub most evenings. Great choice of walking routes straight from the cottage. Delightful family owners close by only too happy to give advice on local area. Probably our most relaxing and peaceful holiday ever.
