We stayed at this cottage for a week and due to a delayed flight and other things we were late to arrive but Miriam was still there waiting for us with the fire on and very welcoming.. There were bits and bobs in the fridge after a long journey and the cottage was very clean and cosy. Again, Miriam took us around and showed us what was what and little tips where we might want to go. Eamonn popped down later in the week to say hello and was very friendly. All round a lovely place to stay with very welcoming and accommodating owners.

The owner met us at the cottage at the time agreed and made us feel very welcome (there was a lit wood burning stove that made it feel very homely),and provided some lovely scones, butter and jam, a large bowl of fruit, as well as milk and tea.. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It proved a good location for exploring the south west of Ireland and we were blessed with good weather in late September. It was ideal for us as a couple with all the facilities we needed.

We had a great holiday, Miriam and Eamonn the owner were great host, lighting a wood fire and telling us of some places to visit, they left jam, butter , milk scones, eggs and some beautiful flowers to make us feel welcome, very homely cottage, everything you need if you want to self cater, you do need a car to get around, unless you like walking? We have been to Ireland before but have never rented a cottage but would definitely recommend it.

You couldn't ask for a better holiday home than Tourard Cottage.. It is a lovely cottage, in a central area, and has everything you could need for your stay. Owners Eamonn and Miriam have made it feel so cozy and comforting, and they made us feel so welcome. They went above and beyond to help us with questions we had about the area and with suggesting places to go and things to do. They were the best welcome to Ireland you could imagine.

Great accommodation and hospitality from Miriam and Eamonn of this dainty cottage.. If you want a place to relax and a sense of homeliness, this is the place to stay at. Very warm welcome from the owners and was recommended to a local pub in the area; Dromina cottage bar, a true sense of Irish tradition cottages in the era. Approximately an hour between Cork and Killarney. Will be back again! :)
