Firstly let me say that communication was excellent. I had lots of questions and all my queries were dealt with very efficiently. The instructions for finding the place were also very good. There were four adults staying in one of the lodges, and it was a nice touch that there was a board outside with our name on welcoming us! We were told there would be a welcome tray for us, which contained tea, coffee and some nice biscuits, however no milk! This was not a major problem as our Asda delivery arrived shortly after us. We then received a welcome visit from a lady which was also a nice touch. We had a lovely stay and the lodge was very warm and cosy, an dthe kitchen well equipped. The only thing I would say is that a second shower would be useful and a second hairdryer would also be useful. It was a bit of an operation coordinating four adults all wanting showers at the same time! The towels were lovely and big and fluffy and clean. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the bedding clean. It would also be useful to provide a torch for walking back from the village. There is no telephone signal and no wifi in the lodge, but there is wifi in the games room which is a short walk. All in all a lovely stay and we would return if in the area. This review is the subjective opinion of a TripAdvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. Your response: "Thank you and glad that you enjoyed your stay in Tomich. We hope to be able to deliver the fibre broadband to the Lodges this autumn. There should have been milk in you welcome tray and we apologise for this oversight. The lights in the drive are now being switched on so that will light up your walk back in the autumn evenings. There are some new developments being planned for the Lodges which will solve the shower issues you experienced but possibly not for the next couple of seasons. All the best...."

We have just got back from a weeks stay in Woodland Lodge at Tomich. Family of 5. 3 boys & parents. The location of Tomich Holidays is superb, you could not be better located for Loch Ness & Glen Affrich. The Forestry Commission guided walks in the local area are amazing! with such superb scenery it was like something from a movie. The accommodation is equally scenic! the Woodland lodges are idyllic set in the woods with a balcony on 2 floors overlooking woodland! it was lovely. Well equipped lodge to say the least! Sky TV ! Washing Machine ! Even had the washing powder & washing up liquid provided.... it's the little touches like that what set this apart from your average holiday because you feel welcomed. It was a home from home !. The Swimming Pool also a blessing which we had to ourselves for most of the time... the kids loved the Games room and the wifi sufficed for my needs. We flew into Inverness which made this trip even easier. Obviously the weather in these parts is never favourable but you can't have everything! :) Would definitely stay again.
