Following the most incredible family staycation in Co. Wexford I can highly recommend Tobergal Farm for a large group. We rented two of the three cottages, Tober Mor and Tober Eile, which are situated delightfully on the owners working livestock farm. We were very lucky to receive a walking tour where we saw several clearly adored animals. The cottages can be opened up into one larger house, they are spacious, warm, very comfortable and welcoming. There are open fires in both living rooms with beautiful wood details surrounding it and behind that impressive exposed stone walls. The kitchens had everything we required and Tober Mor had a huge dining area, incredible that we could all dine together. Everything worked and it was spotless clean. There are several showers and toilets which was a delight for our large group especially after visits to the beautiful nearby beaches. There was plenty to see and do within 30 minutes drive of the property but it was always such a joy to return to the farmhouse where we relaxed and played board games as well as sat in the large garden area under the stars. The owner dropped over daily newspapers and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and more. I cannot put into words how I wish to describe the essence felt whilst on our few days staycation. All I can say is we couldn't fault the property and would 100% recommend it to a large group of friends or a family with kids.

We loved staying in Tober Mor, we booked both cottages for a family holiday of 17 people.. The cottages were so homely and comfortable with every little need accommodated by the fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble. My only issue was contact with the agency, impossible by phone and email responses were only generalised. Luckily the hosts answered all our queries when we contacted them. We will definately be back. Something to note the cottages are close to the owners home and it is a working farm, it had no negative impact on us, it rather added to our experience with an opportunity to see the fabulous animals on the farm.

Mrs Heffernan was very welcoming and very friendly.. Went out of her way to ensure that everything was okay for us. Very accomodating. Really enjoyed our week there and would definitely recommend for a large family group.

This property was about a two star, Infact it seemed like it may have been a hostel before. There was 4 shower cubicles, 3 toilets, 3 sofas, 5 dining tables, about 100 plates, bowls, cups, etc, but all were mismatched, old and dusty. The rooms were all single rooms, but a double bed was squashed into two of them. The floors were swept but not clean. My toddlers were filthy every night. The photos of the big double room and bathroom do not exist in this property. The property is on a working farm and the owners house is in the square where the cottages are. There was cars coming and going all day from the owners house - once there was 9 cars! I felt that was unsafe for toddlers. There was no grass in a garden only a stone and gravel yard. The garden furiture was worn and there was no cushions. The stable that the dogs (2 doberman) were kept in was beside our front door and I think that attracted flies and wasps. We sprayed fly spray numerous times everyday. There was mouse traps in some of the corners and we saw a mouse the day we were leaving, in the kitchen. This property would suit someone used to a rural farm environment. Not a suberban family with yung children.

The owner was very hospitable and friendly. Weather very good. Beaches not far. Although semi-rural, this location was good. Grand-children enjoyed the farm animals and resident donkeys, peacocks and deer.
