Two well-behaved dogs are welcome; however, smoking is not permitted. Within 0.3 miles there is a shop and pub and within 0.6 miles, a beach. The White Cottage makes a wonderful base to the coastal town of Weymouth.

Only 7 miles away lies Dorchester, the setting for Thomas Hardy's "Casterbridge," or travel along the lovely coastal route to Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. Alternatively, simply drive down to West Bay and take in the breathtaking vistas of the Dorset Heritage Coastline.
