Such a great cottage and venue.. It instantly felt like home the minute we walked in. The place was spotless and has everything we needed. Kerensa was responsive to the queries we had. Being so close to the main hub of Padstow was ideal. Beautiful spot and would highly recommend.

On the whole it was a very comfortable stay.. However, calling the bin passageway, a ‘patio’, was a little far stretched! I would hate to have experienced that in mid summer. Position great for town centre and beach walks. Jacqui

We had a lovely holiday staying in Wearne Cottage, and exploring the coastal and inland footpaths.. We used the bus services most days which enabled us to walk most of the coastal path between Padstow and Newquay, and most of the Camel trail and Saint's Way between Padstow and Bodmin. We stopped for refreshment in numerous cafes, and enjoyed wlking along empty, sandy beaches. It was a great bonus having a Spar, mini-market, only 50 yards away, and all the other shops and restaurants only 1 minute down the road. The property owner was very friendly and helpful, and we were very pleased to have met her. The cottage was well equiped and heated up very quickly on cold nights and mornings. Our only negative comment would be down to the fact that we have never owned a dog, and the downstairs sofas had a faint smell of dog odour. Otherwise 10 out of 10.

The top room was slightly cramped height wise for myself and my wife.. This is the only drawback if sleeping 6 adults. Super comfortable for 4 adults or kids also. Facilities were great and house was very clean. Would highly recommend

Lovely property, very well designed.. A great location very close to everything in Padstow. Parking a few minutes walk on the edge of town with a nice little woods for any dogs on the way.

The cottage was very comfortable and very close to everything.. We had to contact the owner on three occasions. Firstly, as the majority of the bedding was duck and feather which surprised us. The owner kindly provided us with non allergic duvets on request. We also had to have the owner in to sort out an ongoing problem with the drainage of the shower. Hopefully by next season this will be remedied. The owner luckily was on hand but we did miss having an agent in the town who could hopefully have handled these problems. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

The house was lovely, the owner very helpful.. It's a very comfortable house, a real home from home, in a perfect location in Padstow, as it is in the centre. In May it was very quiet at night, I'm not sure what the height of summer would be like, but will definitely go back at some point.

We had problems with the Tv so contacted the owner who said she could do nothing.. I was then asked to put out all the recycling pins which i did. Upon leaving i was contacted by the owner complaining that i hadnt put out the recycling bags but i had and returned them . Owner treated me like an employee not a valued customer spending £800 + on a holiday. I would not go back again . And its supposed to sleep 6 yet there were only 4 wine glasses of various sizes need to fo more.

The location of the cottage in Padstow was perfect.. Parking at a near-by car park at around £7 per day was not too bad. Lots of lovely coves to discover and coastal walks close by.

Recently stayed here for a long weekend with family. On arrival, we ended up driving passed it on the one way system as we weren't sure where to stop the car to unload - after calling the owner, she advised that we were able to stop for a short time just up the road; she was extremely friendly & didn't mind us calling out of the blue on a Friday afternoon, which greatly helped us especially since it was pouring down at the time. The location is great - short walk down to the harbour with a Spar shop part way down the hill too. We found everything really easy to get to and within walking distance. We parked our cars in the harbour car park which was also within walking distance and had better security than the car park at the top of the hill before entering the town area. The cottage is beautifully decorated - each bedroom along with the bathroom & en-suite are all very modern and extremely clean. The facilities in terms of the kitchen/utility were also great - plenty of storage space including 2 fridges and a good amount of worktop area to prepare food/drinks. The kitchen was also very well equipped with various appliances - the only thing lacking, in our opinion, was wine glasses/flutes. The bedrooms are a decent size with plenty of room to leave suitcases on the floor if you're only staying a few nights and not wanting to fully unpack. The only improvements we would have liked in the bedrooms was better curtains/blinds - perhaps with the option of blackouts (especially in the front bedroom) and also a less squeaky bed as the metal frame creaked every time each of you move which wasn't ideal for light sleepers. Other than this, we couldn't have faulted the place. Would happily recommend it to anyone thinking of booking here and would certainly book again if we were back in the area.
