Fantastic and Cosy little conversion
A great place to stay very clean every thing was there for a great holiday
Really well appointed cottage, well equipped and very pleasant.. Everything we needed for a super week!
Great location , so pieceful fantastic beaches and walks .. We took our 3 year old spaniel who had a wonderful time at the beach. So many lovely places to visit .
The facilities in the cottage were great . Christine the owner made us all feel very welcome .
Great location , With the best beach on Anglesey just 10 minutes drive away
Cottage lovely, but to far from amenities for us as we had to drive,to focal points of Anglesey..
Fantastic location, cottage is fabulous.. Loved the break we had. Looking to book again.
Beautiful cottage beautiful destination
We have just arrived back after staying in The Stables for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed ever moment of it.. The accommodation was very clean and modern and had all the utensils and equipment that you would need. The location was fantastic right near to Newborough beach and forest. We would without hesitation recommend to anyone who wants to get away from it all and who also enjoys walking and hiking. I would recommend taking all the provisions you may need for the week as you would have to drive to the nearest big supermarket which is waitrose or asda even so it is only roughly 15 to 20 minute drive.
Overall excellent property for a holiday with two teenagers and the parents; proximity to wonderful walking opportunities was a bonus, as was the helpfulness of the landlord.
We had a lovely relaxing holiday at The Stables. We would thoroughly recommend the place for a get away from it all holiday. There are some lovely walks around the coast, the forest and the beach.
A comfortable cottage with good facilities. Both of the bathrooms are lovely, clean and modern. The kitchen has everything there that you need and there is a comfortable and relaxing sitting area. The bedrooms comfortable with comfy beds and all of the cottage is light and well decorated.
We booked The Stables after reading good reviews and our expectations were high. First impressions are good - clean, modern, two en-suite bathrooms - and dog-friendly. The location is lovely and peaceful and convenient for visiting Newborough Beaches as well as easy drives to most parts of Anglesey.
We did experience a few problems with a dishwasher...so nothing was clean. Judging by some of the stained cutlery (and rusty-tipped knives), glasses and some plates - it may have been a problem for others before us. The owner did look at it and said the thermostat must have broken but beyond giving us 2 extra teacloths no more was mentioned. I hope they got it fixed before the next guests arrived.
The washing machine was hard to find but made an appearance after the shed was cleared out towards the end of the week. After loading our washing in and eventually getting it started, I was told by the owner it was broken. It seemed to wash our clothes ok...but the dryer was not ok! It took 3 hours to dry our stuff....well - almost dry it!
We appreciate that appliances break down or wear out...but it would have been easier to overlook these issues if there had been a greater willingness to put things right more quickly.
The Stables is a lovely place to stay - as long as the maintenance regime is in place and everything works as it should do!
We had a wonderful time, really easy to find and a fantastic location for all of Anglesey. The wood burning stove was just perfect. There were some fabulous walks and plenty for us all to do. Thank you for everything and we would love to return.
In a great location with lots to do and see within short distances. The cottage was warm, homely, very comfortable and restful. Loved the wood burner on cold nights. All on one level/walk in shower was really helpful for moderate mobility impairments.
A nice cottage complex up a fairly long drive from the main road. So no traffic noise.
It was on the quieter side of island with many walks so near.
This was our 4th visit to The Stables. The property is excellent, exceptionally high standard of cleanliness. Everything you would ever need is there. The owners Christine and Martin are so friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is just beautiful at any time of the year.
The bonus is that The Stables is pet friendly, our little dog loved it !!!
We will definitely be returning again.
The hosts were absolutely superb and would do anything to make our stay that much more special. The even lent us a mixer and cake pans to bake a gluten free birthday cake for our son. Couldn't wish for nicer hosts.
A lovely comfortable cottage in a beautiful part of Wales with extensive wonderful places to visit.
The Cottage was beautifully laid out, clean and well furnished in a very quiet location. Perfect position for spending days walking on Newborough Beach. Amazing views from the driveway.
Very private and quiet, excellent property with very trusting owners. Area was panoramic and we would definitely revisit.
Peaceful and beautiful cottage. Owner was lovely, very helpful and accommodating.
This is our second visit to The Stables, excellent is the only word to describe this property! In an ideal spot, so quiet and tranquil. Wonderful scenery. The owners Christine and Martin are so helpful, lovely people!
We will be returning again very soon !!
Close to fabulous beach with fantastic views over Snowdonia. Excellent accommodation.
We loved the seaside style decor and the location of the property.
A very nice, cosy cottage in a quiet location.
A comfortable and warm cottage, everything was clean and new. Would book The Stables again.
A lovely cottage. Very clean and facilities well maintained. Great chip shop 5 minutes away.
The thick walls and excellent central heating kept us cozy despite the biting temperatures. The setting was lovely, particularly with the snow on the mountains. A real home-from-home; spotless and with all our needs provided for. There was even milk and wine in the fridge, and flowers on the table. We would highly recommend. And, be sure to visit the nearby farmshop
The cottage was really warm to come back too. A first class holiday.
The spotlessly-clean cottage was warm and cozy during a very cold spell. Excluding food, everything we needed was provided. There were even flowers on the table to welcome us.
The property was set in a quiet picturesque location.
Everything concerning the holiday went really well. The owners of the cottage were extremely welcoming and helpful.
This cottage was well situated for all of Anglesey and also Snowdonia. Newborough Warren is beautiful and interesting - perfect for someone (like me) who likes geology, flowers and photography.
Loved the cottage and the location. It was great to find such a nice place that is dog friendly.
We loved the area and it was a joy to return to our cottage every evening!
Standard of the accommodation was very good. Peaceful location and friendly and helpful owners.
Awesome views and very quiet location with lots of places to visit within easy travelling distance.
Quality cottage, well laid out and immaculate. Quiet and peaceful, beautiful area. Will probably stay again.
An excellent place to stay. The accommodation was very good and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
Perfectly decorated in a beautiful location. A very comfortable place to stay.
It was a relaxing holiday, the owners were very helpful and the scenery was great.
Everything! The location was great, the beach and forest were really lovely! The Stables was lovely to stay in, very clean and comfortable. The owners made us feel very welcome.
We found the owners of The Stables very hospitable and the cottage was very warm and comfortable with a lovely wood-burning stove. There are a wide range of activities to participate in, with castles, beaches and woodland walks and a welcoming base to return to and enjoy a cold winters evening.
The cottage was perfect and provided a good site for touring Anglesey.
great welcome, lovely complex, just far enough away from main places to offer secluded break, great semi private beach for kids (entry by key fob). has great food and areas to visit within 30 mins travel,(try organic farm shop on road to llanfair, fantastic value).all in all enjoyed our stay and would stay again, fantastic in the sun, plenty to do when weather not so good.thanks and good luck in the future

The accommodation was excellent, and the owner was very helpful and friendly. We were able to come and go as we pleased but help was available if needed. A beautiful part of the country and would love to go back next year, possibly in the winter.
Good base for touring North Wales. Warm welcome on arrival. Wine and basics were a good touch along with fresh flowers. Once complete, this will be a splendid site.
