Holiday home
The Stables is a delightful, semi-detached holiday home set on the edge of working farmland, a few miles from the small town of Llafair Caerinion in Mid Wales. With two bedrooms, a double and an adults bunk bedroom, the property can sleep up to four people. There's also a shower room on the first floor, whilst on the ground floor is a kitchen with breakfast bar and dining area, and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside, there is a private patio garden with furniture and BBQ, and ample off road parking. The Stable is a delightful base for friends and families.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x adult bunks. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with breakfast bar and dining area. Sitting room with electric fire.

Area
The town of Llanfair Caereinion is built upon the site of an old Roman fort, in the valley of the River Banwy. There are several high street banks, a Post Office, two supermarkets, and three pubs. There is a river walk leading to an Arboretum containing over 25 different species of British trees, an ideal place to explore before jumping on the narrow gauge heritage steam railway that runs 8.5 miles west to Welshpool.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Am writing on our last evening here and will be sad to be going home. Have had a lovely week exploring the area. Lots to do and see within a reasonable distance. The icing on the cake has been this gorgeous accommodation with the most idyllic scenery. The photos don't do it justice. Everything in the cottage is first class quality. I can't believe how peaceful it can be and is a joy to return to after a day out. There is a lovely area to the rear which is ideal for relaxing. I will most definitely return in the future and will most certainly recommend. Eileen the owner is brilliant and must be proud of this family business. Thank you!!

The host was so friendly and helpful and provided all we could possibly need, indeed going above and beyond.. The cottage was very clean and comfortable in a wonderful and peaceful location. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We would highly recommend to anybody, definitely one of the best properties we have stayed in and we will certainly be returning. The area is also very beautiful with lots of walks to do.

Eileen was absolutely lovely and was a great hostess! Everything was immaculate! We barely left the cottage it was absolutely stunning! The Bara Brith was stunning! The bed is super comfy, plus bunk beds proved a hit with our son, who used both of them during his stay! we have absolutely no complaints, the shower could do with a bit more pressure but you can't have everything, superb stay, and can't wait to come again! Diolch yn fawr x

We absolutely loved our stay at the Stables which exceeded what we were looking for.. The cottage is the perfect luxury stay in beautiful countryside. The cottage was modern, very clean and cosy. We were even left mince pies and fresh eggs! We will definitely be back to stay in the summer. Thank you!

If you fancy a real get-away break, surrounded by seemingly endless rolling countryside, with a touch luxury, then look no further.. My Wife and I were amazed at the high quality of the cottage yet it still retains a wonderful homely feel, full of rustic charm. The only thing that I could think of as a negative is how utterly sad I felt when our holiday came to an end and we had to go home! Excellent host, no intrusion whatsoever but there if you require anything. Home made cake on arrival was another unexpected delight too. Highest possible recommendations from us in every aspect.

Everything from the welcome of the owner through to the facilities of the property were nothing short of excellent - with the exception of the Broadband.. ... unfortunately we were unable to connect from any iOS (Apple) device.

A lovely little cottage with beautiful views.. It was very well equipped with everything you need and was extremely clean and welcoming. The owner was also very helpful and friendly. Great location for mid wales and walking but a little further for the coast. Would definitely recommend this property and would consider booking again.

The welcome was fantastic and the accommodation amazing. The whole setting was superb, set in wonderful scenery, and the cottage décor beautifully renovated to a very high modern standard. The owner could not do enough to make sure we had everything we needed, a fantastic host. The cottage location was very easy to find and a great base for exploring Wales. Could not fault anything, would highly recommend staying here!! An amazing late getaway.

Eileen is a wonderful welcoming host. She had a home made cake on arrival. The newly renovated property was comfortable had all the essentials of a home away from home. Eileen could not do enough for us and provided all the relevant info on places to visit. The property is set in peaceful country side with sheep out in the paddocks- lovely view. We hope to be back one day and recommend this beautiful property to all. We stayed in 2 Br unit. It does have stairs.
