Just arrived home from a wonderful 3 night stay. We had such a warm welcome from the owners. The took the kids to see the newborn calves which they absolutely loved. The games room was perfect for our 2 10 year old boys, they played there for hours. The hot tub was lovley to relax and kept the kids happy. The stable was clean and spacious, enough room for all of us. They fitted a baby gate for us and provided high chair and cot. Theres a laundry room also which was handy to dry towels ect after being in th hot tub. About 10 mins drive to aberaeron. We will definitely be going back.

We really enjoyed our break.. The owners of the property were fabulous and helpful. It was a great place to stay with our dogs who also had a great time. The cottage is set in farmland and beautiful countryside but is also very near the sea. Highly recommended.

Perfect little cottage and great surroundings.. Had a lovely stay. Didn’t sleep well for first couple of nights as bed was very hard but once I got used to it it was perfectly adequate. Lovely cottages and will definitely return

We had a lovely stay at the stable and a fantastic week in wales.. The owners were really friendly and made us very welcome. The pros -The location is stunning. The views from your hot tub and garden are just beautiful. Rolling hills and cows coming right up to the garden fence. There are lovely walks right from the doorstep - The owners invited us to watch the cows being milked and meet their newborn calves. The children loved this and the owners spent lots of time with us and made it a great experience. -the hot tub is a fab addition. It was clean and the owners checked the water every morning. Views from hot tub are awesome. -the shared playground was great for our children. Very safe and they loved it. - our umbrella broke and they got us a new one straight away. We also expected a gas bbq but it was a coal one. They swapped it for us straight away! A few little improvements -Check in 3pm. We arrived at 4pm but was told cottage would not be ready until 5pm due to extra cleaning. Totally understand this but 5pm is too late and Sykes should have contacted us to make us aware. - the living room and kitchen is on first floor and it was difficult keeping our toddler away from the stairs. We put the sofa in front of it but a stair gate would have been a big help. -one of the lights in the kitchen was broken and there was another little light wired up strangely. Assuming their is an electrical issue with the light. It was a little dark in there so a big lamp is needed. -the games room isn’t great. It’s very old and needs a revamp. With a little work it could be a great addition. Overall would definitely recommend!!

It can be difficult to find.. There are multiple signs for Lanlas cottages, which are small blue arrows however 2 of those are only half visible. Single beds were hard as rock and not comfortable. View is spectacular, hot tub is fantastic. Cottage had absolutely everything we needed. Games room was good with ping pong, pool table and darts board. Aberaeron is so pretty with its pastel coloured houses and harbour. New quay and Aberystwyth not too far of a drive. Great little getaway

The property is in a wonderful location, it just needs some investment in equipment.. For example, there were no wine glasses, although these were provided when requested. The tin opener didn’t work properly, the knives weren’t sharp.... The property meets all the basic requirements to get the stars awarded but I felt this had been achieved in the cheapest way possible and the rental cost did not reflect this. Also on our last night the property next door were partying noisily until 4am - our kids went the the games room at 9am and there were open vodka bottles, full ashtrays, cigarette packets with lighters and it had been left in such a state that they couldn’t use it.

The kettle lid kept flying open half way through boiling spattering out boiling water if left unattended.. This was mentioned in an October 2017 review so owners had not addressed the issue. Cottage very clean and bedding spotless but double mattress in property quite stained. Very comfy even so. Internet connection mostly nonexistant so my son was unable to work in the evenings. Owner did try to fix. 'Recycling centre' on the approach road was actually a massive tip/scrapyard and put us off walking the lanes. Despite this we had a lovely long relaxing weekend and found lots to do and would consider returning one day as cottage lovely and location good once there.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a quiet location.. Only fault we could find was the kettle lid kept opening on boiling which could have caused injury. Very enjoyable relaxing week for us including our dog.

What a fabulous location and comfortable property.. Unfortunately there was no wifi available although it was included in your listing. Could we suggest that smaller saucepans are included and some plastic containers for microwave.

The Stable is in a fabulous location and we particularly liked the large garden, which was secure for our dogs. The views were to die for and the cottage was palatial and extremely comfortable. The owners were most amenable and friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Stable, the cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival and the garden was perfect for our 2 dogs being well fenced and a good size. We will certainly recommend it to our friends.

It was such a relaxing holiday. Everything was perfect in all ways. Myself, my wife and 21 year old son plus our dog found the cottage very easy following directions given. The owners were very nice, easy to talk to and friendly. Sitting in the garden the views were brilliant, animal friendly. Would definitely go back and I will give the cottage a 5 star rating. Thanks to the owners for making our stay excellent.

This cottage is simply outstanding in every department. Only downside is that its always a short drive to nearest town of Aberaeron as there is a very long walk otherwise.

A wonderful place to let the kids roam free. Spotless accommodation and friendly owners. Surrounded by beautiful scenery with so much land to explore you do really away from it all although there are lots of places nearby to visit. Will be returning again
