The Stable is a lovely base for exploring this attractive part of Devon.
Area Resting within the tranquil Devonshire countryside, 5 miles from IIfracombe, is the delightful village of West Down. The village has a local shop and a 14th century pub, serving real ales and fine wines, whilst the countryside offers plenty of glorious, walking and cycling opportunities. Just five miles away is the popular seaside resort of Woolacombe, boasting an award-winning surfing beach, whilst further afield, the picturesque Exmoor towns of Lymouth and Lynton are worth exploring.
Region Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
