NO WIFI, VERY POOR MOBILE SIGNAL , you dont realise how dependent we have become on a reliable Internet connection. Also one of the smallest tv's I've encountered in a long time, with only freeview channels available! If you want to get away from the rat race this place is for you! Not suitable if you have tech hungry kids or which to still be in contact with the outside world. If however you wish solitude and quiet this is the place for you.

Lovely friendly owners who gave good tips on where to visit/eat/walk.. Cottage had everything needed. No wifi & only part phone signal, which we were aware of before the holiday. Perfectly placed to explore Shropshire.

The Stables is an ideal property both for families and dog owners alike.. The property is very spacious with excellent facilities and represents excellent value for money. The property is ideally situated for visiting areas of Shropshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire and is based between Craven Arms and Ludlow on a farm bordering the A49 road. The owner lives on site and is pleasant and helpful without being overbearing. The property has an enclosed garden and is ideal for dogs. The local supermarket is 2 miles away and the local public house, The Appletree, is short distance away. A warm and friendly welcome awaits from the landlord Andy, here you can sample some fine local ales and ciders and order hearty food prepared by his wife Jill. A thoroughly enjoyable, relaxing stay.

This property was lovely, and well equipped, the owners had thought of everything and provided extras that they did not have to provide.. The cottage was spacious and we loved the enclosed garden (as did our dog). I found lots of walks from the property, there was a lovely walk along the river Onny just across the road from the property. The owner was very friendly, he showed me around the farm and even let me bottle feed a baby lamb! The owner has four dogs, who were beautiful I wanted to take them home with me.

The owner of the property was very friendly and helpful and even offered to collect me from the station.. We loved the Stable and it was so nice to be able to go for long walks without having to get in the car first. It was great for our dog as the garden was fully enclosed and a lovely garden too. We stayed in November. I'm sure it will be even nicer in spring or summer.

July 2012
The cottage was ideal for us. The dogs were safe, we were near suitable walks and the whole experience was very good. We shall return again if we can. People were helpful with walks which was wonderful as it is situated on farmland and I needed the dogs to be safe for the farm animals.
