Can’t believe this property is still still advertised as is. . If it wasn’t for major health issues I would suing them for at least false advertising.

Cannot provide details as currently in dispute with Sykes. Please trust the previous reviews they are not wrong.

Stil a building site despite representations to the contrary, the property is superficially elegant but in terrible condition. My bed rattled and creaked at the slightest movement, most uncomfortable night since student days till we fixed it with an Allen key. Thermostats on both the showers broken so choice of ice cold or scalding. Sykes Properties flatly refused to return any of the outrageous £2800 they charged for a week in this hellhole. Nice one guys.

Have stayed in this building on the top floor apartment in 2019 (Sunset Point) and loved the views. This time we booked the ground floor apartment (Sea Chest) the holiday was postponed twice in 2020 due to COVID-19. Finally got to go in June 2021 imagine our surprise when we arrived to find the land in front of the building right up to the terrace was being excavated to a depth of over 3 metres. Heavy plant diggers and large lorries worked from 8am to 4 pm every day with noise and dust a problem. The apartment was supposed to have been sanitised for our arrival but the cleaning was not what we would have expected with stained carpets and dusty surfaces,(probably due to the building work). When we stripped the beds the pillows and mattress covers were filthy. We complained to Sykes which was a Challenge in itself trying to get hold of anyone, they referred our complaint to the owner who was not prepared to do anything. Why it should be down to the owner when we booked and paid Sykes. Not impressed with Sykes as a company they are difficult to contact and just want to brush people off.
